"My Fees Were Waived.

On August 25, 2017,  we received your case and waived the filing fee for your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, Receipt Number EAC##########. We mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by September 24, 2017, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

I randomly got this form on my uscis case status page. We filed for n400 in August, and this showed up today, more than a year after filing for ROC. We never applied for a fee waiver and the check was cashed long ago.

A quick search here shows several others with the same message and no effect. A few are saying tjat it was a glitch. I wanted to add my note here in case anyone else got it. I didn't get a notification, it just showed up on my uscis page.

This is pretty much the fee for your green card production. It was waived because you have 2 receipt numbers and that fee was processed. The date says On August 25, 2017 which makes sense because you filed at that time.

Yep, mine has said that since Aug 7, 2017 under the cri-89. It’s the other receipt number you want for tracking the actual I-751

So, as I understand, only people who have not pending combo cases -keep getting approvals based on  July and August thread. I guess for us who applied for N-400 there is no chance to get it before naturalization interview...

Yeah I’m not expecting to get anything before naturalization. Not a problem though :)
