I have travel abroad plans for the end of October, I see on this forum that some are getting extensions and approved from August filings.

If you don’t get an extension by end of sept I would go get a stamp via infopass

Should I be getting worried? Filed ROC on August 1st 2017, Biometrics done right away and case was last updated on April 9th 2018( moved to local office) but have yet to receive an extension. Does not having the extension effect my right to work? Any help would be appreciated.

Hmm I filed late September and I got my extension a month ago...u should have got one already..all the other September filers got them👀

It is used for renewing driver's licenses and employment eligibility as well.

You mean August 16th? That was fast!

For me, It will be one week this Friday since i got that email. My status is still the same — New card is being produced. Should I call uscis and see if it has shipped?

Also my application on dhs.gov site shows that last update was on feb 26 but on egov.uscis.gov it shows that on aug 24 new card is being produced. Is that normal?

Approval letter says 60 days to process card so you shouldn't have cause for concern - you should be getting any day. Are you subscribed to USPS Informed delivery? https://reg.usps.com/portal/login  You will receive emails letting you know what will be arriving each day?

The status' are not 100% accurate/up to date. DHS still shows Card In Process. Best of luck getting your new card!

Doesn't hurt to call to inquire about when you could expect to receive the letter.
