I am a U.S citizen born in Houston,Texas. I have graduated from college and I am currently working full time for a finance company. I have been with the company a little over 2 years.

I feel in love with a girl from Singapore, (we meet at ihop one morning) and she currently has a student visa (f1 visa) set to expire in 2020. I have been knowing her for over a year and I want to help her get her citizenship.

I truly care for this girl and this morning I decided I was going to look into it to try to help her.

So I went to a lawyers office to ask questions. They wanted to charge me $75 consultation fee just to see the lawyer. I was about to agree but I remembered about this website from a friend. So I wanted to ask here first before I go to lawyer.

SO where do i begin? I am sorry for my ignorance. I have never done this before and I don't know where to start.

Yeaah, first she would need a green card.

There is a looooooooooooooooong way until she could even try to apply for the citizenship. And she'd be applying, not you for her. (though it would be based on the marriage) And it's like, YEARS away.

Honestly the only option is to get married and adjust based on that. Others already send you a link to the guide.

Me and my wife married a few months ago.  I am a U.S citizen and she is on student visa that is set to expire in 2019. We want to start the process to establish residency.

I went to the uscis website and I just wanted to make sure what forms I need to fill out.

Can anyone tell me what forms I need?

Thank you!
