I stand corrected on question #26 (I erroneously kept saying 28 before).  The purpose of the question is because someone who is NOT the petitioner may be filling out the AoS.  Tiger has further explained this reasoning to me but I'm tired and crabby and it's been a long day at work so I'm not following what he's on about but if I ever get a pithy explanation from him that will enlighten all of us then I will be sure to post it.

Until then, DISREGARD my previous answers and do as @JSCGPV has suggested.  (That is, if you are the petitioner filling it out with no one else sponsoring your beneficiary, write in your fiance/e's information in that section as he outlined.)

No worries here, and it's not only been a long day, but a long Azz six months! I think we are all starting to feel the strain.

There are lots of NOA2s coming in mail without an update on case tracker.

Anything you see in the scans is what will be updated online/the case tracker apps. The apps are what they use to complete the scans. Usually, a lot of cases that were approved/sent RFE’s aren’t in the scans because USCIS didn’t update online :)

You're not kidding.

I'm actually finding myself quite astonished by the degree to which it's worse now than it was when we still had months and months to go.

I think we're gonna need a seasoned pro (cough, @Naes) to weigh in here.  I don't see why you would be filling out your beneficiary's name in this question when another entire section of the AoS is all about them.  It is self-evident that you are submitting this form on behalf of your beneficiary, and it would make sense that USCIS would want to know about your past attempts to petition for a visa on another person's behalf, so I'm sticking with my original answer here, that you would answer "None."  (Assuming your current beneficiary is your first time attempting to sponsor someone.)

This is how I currently have this question filled out and how I will be submitting it unless I'm corrected.
