They don't just look at the "paper" you submitted.  They are likely doing background checks.  They don't just look at a document submitted to them.  They have to verify documents, information, etc...  They might have to mail a copy of the document to the originating agency to authenticate it, etc...  You are very angry..it will not help you to be so angry.  Take a deep breath.  It will all be worth it once the two of you are together.  God is good...even when we wait.  Good luck and God Bless.

I'm sure they did all the background checks before tjey sent me the "check list" which required 1 (ONE ) ITEM my wife's police report which my idiot lawyer said we didn't need to get until we have a interveiw date...so the police report  has a verification # on it so even if they had to snail mail.it was sent to nvc 3 months ago..I'm Not angry.this just confirms my faith in Gov agency's ..like Vetrans health care..Gov workers just don't have a to care. And what makes that even worse they don't have to follow any time frame for us. Technically they can just label any application Administration process and TAKE as much time as they want. Who cares if you got a husband waiting for his wife or vice a versa or children waiting to be with their parents or vice versa they just don't care. It's our lives not theirs so what do they care. They just answer the phone give the bad news or the non transparent excuse and move on to the next phone call.p.s. God is Good, I'll take that deep breath,I'll take  the luck too, thanks for the advice and God bless you too.

Then you have to wait out the timeframe that the NVC is currently taking.  You can try calling to check up and if it's been longer than their processing time can request a supervisor review.  However that can expand your timeframe more.

It's about a week longer than their processing time now I think I'll save that supervisory review for later date if this gets out of control. I'll have my lawyer do it. Or congressman.

Not to mention these wait times are already absurd did you know 2 months ago was only eight weeks she had to wake now its 11 what's next?

Not really.  Maybe their site said 8 weeks, but the REAL processing time at NVC has been 11 weeks for at least 5 months.  Do you know how many I-130 petitions they receive every month?  Thousands and thousands.  At the end of March, there more than 1 million I-130 petitions waiting to be adjudicated at USCIS.  Each petition must be scrutinized by human eyes, so it is a time consuming process. Unfortunately for us, it is a time consuming process.

Hopefully, your case will be complete very soon.

Well thanks for your support! I was through USCIS almost a year ago anyways maybe they each state should have their own NVC
