Hmm so was your priority date the 2 of July ? I haven't raised an SR yet but now I'm starting to feel like I should... Did you raise it online ?

I don’t know. I’ve realized  that it’s been more than  90 days since the day USCIS got my package and decided to raise the SR. That’s it. I haven’t received any response to my SR, though.

Case Approved (EAD) - September 20, 2017

Hm, I'm surprised a case must be approved after "card in production" stage.  Does it mean there is a possibility that my EAD case won't be approved? I'm panicking.

Don't worry for that. My status changed from "case was received" to "card in production" and then to "card was mailed" and 2 days later I got NOA for I-765 and I-131 in the mail saying the case was approved  and now I'm just waiting for the card. I think once is in production it means is approved ^_^

I went to Social Security Office yesterday. I previously had a SSN not valid for employment so I just needed to change the legend to valid for employment. They only requested my Drivers License or passport and my EAD. It took less than 5 mins and I was out with receipt. It’s supposed to arrive by mail in 2 weeks but I think it should take about a week. I think if someone is going to apply for SSN for the first time, you have to take Passport, EAD and birth certificate with legal translation (take the original that you use to send package).

Thanks to everyone for the regular updates. It's making the wait easier knowing there's others out there.

I've got email notification turned on and it's good to see updates trickling in each day!

Best of luck to those with interviews scheduled

To those without, it can't be much longer now!

Cheers, Hayden

I'll advise you not to worry about it. It's just a redundant notification USCIS created that not everyone even gets 😂 As long as you receive a notification that a card is mailed, then your card must certainly be on it's way 😉 Also, they won't produce your card if they didn't approve you.

I actually panicked a bit because I thought the status went back to just being approved and my card was waiting to produced again 😂 They just have a way with messing with us one way or another 😅
