It was from my understanding you are allowed to work basically after POE, the visa its self guarantees right to work? Can anyone confirm? I would guess you couldn't start working/getting paid until you have a SSN, but could be hired?

Yes the visa guarantees right to work as from what i know as well, it serves as ourgreencard for the meantime, however, when getting drivers license and for work they require your SSN (based on my research, will ask the office within the week and will update you)

- if anyone knows clearly, please correct me.

From the SS website: "Note that the employee may work while the Social Security number application is being processed."

https://www.ssa.gov/employer/hiring.htm

Now speaking to a friend that is a position that hires. He has come across this and has hired someone who has not yet received their card. The employer is required to gather the information , file some kind of temporary tax ID and adjust to the social security number within 90 days. He said many employers will not want to bother with this so you may get passed on a job.

He went to Warood because Olaya was charging more

I don't have the option of changing as Jeddah just has one center they're charging Almost 1500 SAR per adult ... hey i needed to ask something, has your husband registered the document delivery address yet from us travel docs website or should it be done after the interview from the embassy itself?

Thanks!

Hey! How long did it take for you to see that appear in your tracker? I'm more anxious than ever now that I'm in the last stages.
