If you want to wait for weeks, then you wait for instructions. You have to be proactive to get it done ASAP. Like you need to call NVC to get a case number once it is assigned. If you wait for them to mail you, it can be a month or more. :)

Can anyone please tell me how to talk to a tier 2 officer? I'm about to call USCIS. What number do I click?

When they ask if you can't find your case number or don't know it, press that number (2 I think). Do that even if you know your case number & it will get you to an operator.

I just called USCIS and asked them about the status of my case. He literally just told me what I see on the USCIS processing times page. He said Texas center is currently working on Feb cases and then I asked why is it so that some May cases have received their approval and I haven't and he said that every case is different you just have to wait a few more months. Someone please tell me when should I expect to get an approval.

My PD is May 8

Unfortunately there's no rhyme or reason to their process. My PD is April 25th & I just got approved 2 days ago (November 15). It's frustrating when you see dates after yours getting approval. But Texas seems to be picking up & they are approving May. It could be a few days, weeks or possibly a month until you're approved. Hang in there!

I just called uscis and I got a call back from a tier 2 officer that told me that Texas is taking 7 months to process applications.  😤😤. And that my case is not assigned  to an officer yet. I will call back next week.

Pd. 05/31.

I believe that when someone wants to help,  they do, if not. Ill try again

What it mean is you are about to be approved... it means you must have changed your name to your husband's name... and they updated it on thier system... its the same thing before my approval
