Yes, I got an email with the list yesterday. I suppose this is the CC... Our attorney is looking at it because it isn't very clear what we need to bring. But at list they reviewed our case ! Thank you so much for your answers

oh ok, great. :)

Yeah, you can double confirm yourself by checking your online status. ;) Since you already have your letter, no need to call the NVC

If it says "At NVC" and your AOS information is missing.. Then you most likely have a completed case (CC)...

Yes, no no no checklist. Have you reviewed all the cases on the spreadsheet that have received a checklist? There is one case from your county that said "They said it was an incorrect birth certificate." Did you confirm that you have the right one?

Yes, we forwarded the right one for our m.c and b.c which is  NVC required.

Hi, it's been 9 weeks since your scan date. Sometimes cases get CC's within 8 weeks but the average is trending at about 9 weeks.

Click on the following links to check your IR-1/CR-1 visa case status:

Check My Visa Application Status

If it says "At NVC" and your AOS information is missing.. Then you most likely have a completed case (CC)... Please call the NVC to confirm.

See Example

If your status still reads "Action required: Submit requested documents", you can call the NVC to ask if your case is under review.

Please update the NVC Case Status Spread Sheet -  2017  with your latest status.

  • If you have not received a CC or you are not under review, update your notes.
    • "May 26 - Morning - Called, still not under review"  (please put date first in your notes).

Here are instructions on how to edit/save the questionnaire.

If you have lost your questionnaire, you can redo it, I'll delete the duplication.

Hi, I have a scan date of April 26th. I received my CC yesterday on June 20th. But I've discovered that the processing times may depend on the country you come from. So on our spreadsheet, sort by interview city and see how long cases from your country took to get their CC's.

Meanwhile, starting at 8 weeks, click on the following links to check your IR-1/CR-1 visa case status:

Check My Visa Application Status

If your status still reads "Action required: Submit requested documents", you can call the NVC to ask if your case is under review. But honestly, I don't see how this really makes a difference as some people stay in review for 1 day whereas others 14 days+.. And they don't always tell you if you're under review.. I would start calling the NVC after normal processing time for your country or 9 weeks, whatever is later..

Please update the NVC Case Status Spread Sheet -  2017  with your latest status.

  • If you have not received a CC or you are not under review, update your notes.

HAHAHA, that what it was. Thank you for updating the spreadsheet. Just this morning I deleted that profile off the spreadsheet as I wasn't hearing back..

Well yeah, this is true that they would say that.. They're the customer service line, not actually doing the reviews. but you can clearly see they're not processing by order of receipt... Not sure how it works but if you do sort by country, you def see similarities in processing times..

Here are the processing times for Mexico.

Case Complete (CC) Review dept to CC - DAYS SD to CC - DAYS SD to CC - WEEKS PD to CC - WEEKS
5/18/2017 33 71 10.14 7
5/23/2017 4 71 10.14 47
5/18/2017 No Rev Date 57 8.14 60
5/31/2017 1 68 9.71 4
6/14/2017 No Rev Date 64 9.14 89
5/8/2017 3 68 9.71 No PD

Keep on checking your status, no need to call them. If you get a checklist, it will come by mail.. If you have a CC, your status will change to "at nvc". :)

You're at day 64. Yes, there was one at day 57 but the the rest were at day 64 and up.. So we'll see when yours get's a CC.. Hopefully before day 71. :)

June 21 I called and they said they haven't reviewed it yet

scan date 4/26

😤

Thanks for the update but I don't advise calling before 9 weeks.. Just leads to disappointment.. Not everyone will tell you if it's under review..  9weeks is  still the average processing time..  Keep checking your status.. It will happen soon enough. :)   There are still several cases before 4/26 waiting for their CC's..

Thanks I'm trying to hang in there :( I'm just mad because when I was first looking at everyone's scan dates I was telling myself I'm gonna keep watching those other two people with the same scan dates and sure enough they got case closed at the same day so I had my hopes up for nothing but maybe I will get it today later who knows

Hi Guys!

I been following the forum for quite some time and posting for the first time...

My case was sent to review on 6/15/17.  On 6/19/2017 I called NVC and they informed that the packet is missing her original native language birth certificate and everything else is good to go. The only "problem" is, the municipality office issues birth certificates in English only.  So they put the entire case on hold for supervisor review.  I spoke with a supervisor this morning and she informed me that it will take up to 6 weeks for review.  They need to get physical documents I sent them in review department for further review.  It makes no sense at all.  I sent them a copy of the original bearing the official stamps.  All they have to do is pull up the scanned copy in their system and review it.

To get things moving, I am going to meet a rep at my Senator's office.  Do you guys recommend I should file expedite request?  I am willing and am going to fight for it.  I don't want new scan date.

I-130 Notice Date:  9/8/2016

I-130 Approval:  3/28/2017

NVC Scan Date:  4/19/2017

In Review Dept:  6/15/2017

Checklist:  6/20/2017

Country:  Islamabad, Pakistan

UPDATE:   As of 6/20/2017 supervisor has requested my file and cannot be expedited any further.  As soon he or she gets it, it will take them 1 min to review and check for the official municipal secretary's stamp on the birth certificate.  I was also told to expect a call today from supervisor...still waiting.  Praying for a CC by end of week. I already spoke with my Congresswoman's office and will pay them a visit Monday if I don't hear anything from NVC by Monday afternoon.

Congrats to everyone who have gotten their CCs!

I think it's a good strategy. I personally decided that I would start calling after 9 weeks.. Maybe i was scarred from the USCIS process; calling each month only to hear, we're running behind, just a little bit longer..   Also, i knew from our spreadsheet and forum that even if one made it to the review dept, didn't mean they were going to get a CC right away.. Times varied from 1-2 days to 14+ days...

Def looks like from other cases from Nigeria that it's very possible to have your CC before 9 weeks. You're at day 58.. So from other Nigeria scan dates, you could receive your CC any day now. Wishing you luck.

And the great thing by not calling is that it frees up the lines for those trying to confirm their CC's or receipt of docs, etc..

Did you confirm that you have the correct police certificate? Other cases from Nigeria seemed to have had that problem.. Hope you don't have any problems.
