I did the same, got the following reply via email "Recently, you contacted us about the status of your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, filed on May 22, 2017.  On May 23, 2018, you also filed a Form N-400, Application for Naturalization.  Our records indicate that your Form I-751 and Form N-400 are currently pending and will be adjudicated at the same time."

I also did a case request for my N400 and the email said that it's pending scheduling an interview.

May I know how you send the case request if your N400 is still within processing time ?

23 Months and still waiting...

I filed I-751 on May 25, 2017. Then on 12/20/18 I received update that my case has now been transferred to NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER: PO BOX 648005, Lee's Summit, MO 64064. Did anyone else get their case transferred here? Again, it's been 23 months so my case is definitely out of the normal processing time right (14.5  to 19 months)? I just filed a "Outside of Processting Time" online. Did I do the right thing? What else could I do to push my case further? I'm so tired...

Thank you sincerely in advance for all your advices - you guys are phenomenal ❤️

We got the same notice on 12/19/2018. I submitted a SR for "Outside of Processing Time", too, and got a response that they will combine the i-751 and N400 and adjudicate at the same time.

The status of this service request is:

You or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I-751 to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Our records show that your I-751 is currently pending adjudication. At this time, it is recommendable that you inquiry about your case directly to your local field office. You may write a letter to the address shown above this letter. We regret that we are unable to provide you with a completion date at this time. We apologize for the delay.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.

Should I write a letter to this office? How should I write the letter? I'm all confused and worried - I havent enlisted the help of a lawyer yet, should I start hiring one now to pursue this case since it's taking too long? This is all kinds of jacked up...

May 2017: ROC package sent

6/3/17: Check cashed by USCIS

6/9/17: Biometrics Notice sent

6/28/17: Biometrics Appointment completed

***NEVER RECEIVED THE NOA1 - Extension letter for another year (probably got lost in the mail or USCIS  never sent it by mistake?!)

2/13/18 at 11:10AM: Infopass appointment schedule to have 1-year stamp on birth country passport

Reminder: to file for N-400 form starting from 5/15/18 and onward as 90 days before 3-year anniversary

You should based on the instructions, or if your field office accepts info pass then make an info pass so you can visit the local field office and ask for an update about your case.

Did you file N-400 by any chance?

That makes sense that is why you I-751 was transferred to your local field office. It might be a combo interview I-751 and N-400 respectivley

Try to make an infopass and see if your field office accepts info pass so you can inquire about your I-751, you might be surprised they will tell it will be a combo interview.

Guys this is my current situation:

Hi I saw that you have an interview for waiver. This is my current situation:

·         I751 – In June 2017 I filled for removal of conditions (joint) I sent evidences (bank statements, credit cards, personal loans, bills and insurances in both names, pictures and affidavit letters.)

·         In January 2018 after filling the taxes we sent another package to add our 2017 tax return form.

·         I receive the message that my case was transferred to a local office in March.

·         In March we separated since our relationship was not working

·         In May 2018 the divorce process was finalized, I sent the final decree (divorce) to the office in California

·         In November 2018 I got a letter asking me to amend my form to waiver, I signed and the document was sent back.

·           I got then the following message:

Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction

On November 2, 2018, we transferred your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number…, to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by December 2, 2018.

Then I received a letter explaining that my case was sent to benefit center and now they can schedule an interview.

I did not hear anything back since then, also I’m trying to change my address and I tried online and over the phone with the representative and somehow, they are sending the notification to Texas. In my last call the representative transferred my case to a supervisor who told me that my case is with the California center. Bellow is the prompt with the dates that I contacted them.

11/02/2018 - We received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, and we are working on your case. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.

02/07/2019 - your request to change your address, referral number T********TSC, was completed.

02/07/2019 - On February 7, 2019, your request for us to review an administrative error on your case, referral number WK*******CSC, was completed.

Update from today:
On April 19, 2019, your inquiry about an approval notice that you did not receive, referral number SRXXXXXXCSC, was assigned to an officer for response.

Do you guys know what this means?

So I had my 751/400 combo interview last week (where it feels like nothing moved forward, and I'm still waiting on either a RFE or decision...)...

As an F-1 student, I was asked about my first date of entry into the United States as well as for my I-20's... which surprised me. Fortunately, I did bring all I-20's I had been issued. Is this really standard? I was surprised because I didn't hear/read anywhere to bring them... I brought them on a hunch.

Along the lines of showing my I-20's, now my question is: would I be required to also show documents related to my OPT at any point in the future??? I may or may not have those... Should make an effort to find them in my files or procure them either from my university, or heaven forbid,  USCIS itself?

Well ur case is not that common. Most ppl here didn't get married while being on F1 or Opt. You are not really part of the norm here so the "standard" won't quite apply to you since you are F1/OPT.

Most of us here are using our conditional green card + extension letter as valid immigration status. While you also possess those 2 docs, your recent history may raise eye brows and automatically warrants them to question your time as a non immigrant visa. Had u gone thru h1b for example, you have needed to provide all these stuff to them.

Thank you for your insight. You make a lot of sense.

Just to be clear, my OPT ended in 2014. I was on an F-1 student visa from 2008 to 2014, but my last I-20 is dated 2011 since that had been the last time I left the country and the last time I transferred to a new college. I guess I was surprised that they would ask for those forms since to me that seems like "ancient history" but I understand they are just doing their job in confirming I was never out of status, or overstayed, etc.

Perhaps my mild frustration stems from the fact that nowhere did I read to bring those documents. Had I not brought them, would everything grind to a halt and generate RFEs. I have to say, it doesn't bother me that the waits are long since lots of people are applying for stuff, but USCIS should be more transparent about what to bring to the interview to expedite the whole process. I mean, don't agents want to clear as many cases as possible?
