Trump Ban 3.0 kicks in oct 18th. "bona fide" relationships no longer an exception. ban is indefinite.

Can't seem to catch a break from this process...

Your senator is D.ick Durbin, a Democrat. I'd say start calling his office ASAP and see if he'll help you get the case through. Not much time to spare, though...I hope things work out for you.

Anyone know what the approval ratio is for NOA2?  Or reasons why someone would be denied?  I mean if you've waited 4-5 months plus time before that together, nobody should be denied in my opinion.

From what I read, it's very unlikely to have your visa denied. If they need more evidence, or if you forgot to mail anything, fill anything in your forms.. etc, they will send you an RFE and sometimes a second RFE, giving you a second chance.

The main reasons to be denied are:

- The couple didn't meet in person in the past 2 years;

- One of them can't legally marry

I have also read a case a few days ago that got denied because the petitioner was a green card holder, and not a citizen, he didn't know he had to be a citizen.

After NOA 2, each embassy has a different profile, I know that here in Brazil they approve most of the cases, but it really depends. In general, I like to think that if we have a real relationship, meet the requirements, there isn't a reason to get it denied. No one can't say who we are supposed to love, right?

That's good!  I hope the Philippines isn't too hard on my fiancee.  She's already nervous.

I don't think anyone should be denied unless reasons you mentioned below or a questionable background.

It's normal to be nervous, when I think about it I freak out haha even tho we have everything good to go, it's a bad feeling that someone else is about to decide your future!
