    My wife has the same issue. She travels with our marriage certificate with no problems. US and Philippines understands the difference in documents.

    I was required to get a police clearance for wife's CFO in 2021. I went to my local police department, signed a form, then they sent me a document in the mail that proved I had no police record.

    Thank you. She is my step-daughter. I will make sure my wife files for citizenship as soon as she is eligible.

    @Chancy Thank you for your help. The key that I couldn't find was when mom became a USC. I will get her a passport and a CoC for insurance.

    My wife (green card holder) wants my daughter to think about college in the Philippines when she turns 18 (she is 12 and she is an IR-2). I told her we need to be careful about the time frame spent outside of the country and to make sure she has established US Citizenship. Do I need to apply for a Certificate of Citizenship (N-600) for her? I am confused about the Citizenship rules for minors when it comes to time spent back in the Philippines (outside of the US). Thank you for any help. BTW...they came here two years ago under a spousal visa.

    We just got back from a Cebu and my wife has maiden name on passport and married name on vaccination card. We filled out the e-travel info online and no one asked for any vaccination cards or information...so not an issue.

    As @RO_AH said you can't be sure what the rules will be that far ahead. I am in the Philippines now and all we had to do is sign up with e-travel for our health requirements (we are fully vaccinated) and got thru immigration with no problems. Quarantine is still needed with no vaccines.

    I got my wife a Chevy Trax...small and easy to drive. She loves it and will be taking her driver's test in two weeks.
