Finally after 113 days and 4 SR requests, my EAD was finally approved and my card is in production, a very long road and tough time with no work and sitting around all day and we are one step closer. I hope all the other that are waiting get some good news soon.

Many congratulations! Day 106 at my end, 1 SR unanswered, still waiting...

My PD was May 24th, Biometrics on June 19th and my work permit was approved today Sept 6th. I received the notification at 2:30pm, just about I was going to submit my first Case inquiry. Just hang in there! I know its stressful, good luck to y'all!

Did 4th SR this morning, I got fed up and decided to call and speak to a tier 2 officer, which he then put another request in for us and then at around 1 pm today I received a text that my card was in production. I would call every week hoping for some sort of change.

Did they tell you where your case and/or SRs were being dealt with? The Tier 2 officer just told me that mine is at some office in Missouri (couldn't get the city name as I couldn't understand her...) she said it depends on the workload but should be here within the next 2 weeks. Joy.. 🙄 She wasn't much help other than to just say they could have a heavy workload. Not sure that helps me! She said they hadn't responded to my August 29th SR but that there was a response to today's SR being sent. She said I may even receive my card in that response. They work in a weird way... My hopes really aren't up and faith is absolutely not restored.

Today we went to infopass. As I expected there was zero interesting info. The only thing we learned was that our case is still in benefit center after 2.5 months of being ready to be scheduled. According to what I read here after getting this status your case moves to field office. Or I misunderstood something ?

Also today they answered two SR about EAD. I got emails that case is currently under review. Day 104 after they received the case. That's kinda disappointing :(

Did you also get email ? Or only a letter ? Somebody wrote here that it might be some connections between getting email or mail and time of approval. Any thoughts?

My PD is also May 25. I raised two SR, one at day 90, which I only got the generic reply (they were supposed to reply by Sept 4th but never did) and one on Sept 5th. I also got the generic reply for the second SR, but few hours later I got a longer email with info that included my name, receipt number, A-number, etc. It also stated at the end that they will mail me a decision soon. Yesterday, the status changed to Your card is being produced. I never got another email or a text message with the update. So please keep pushing and keep checking!!

We had our final interview today. All went really well. We were approved on the spot. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL THE DOCUMENTS THEY REQUEST EVEN IF YOU HAVE ALREADY SENT THEM IN! They lost one paper we had submitted previously and had we not brought copies that would have been an additional wait. Take the time to be thorough, you never know what they are going to screw up.

Best of luck to all those still waiting. PM me if anyone has further questions. I wish I could hug all of you for the support I've gotten over the last 2 years. We couldn't have done it without all the amazing people here and RapidVisa. (No, they didn't pay me to plug this. They just made the process so much easier that it would be remiss of me to not mention them and they get my wholehearted endorsement for ANYONE trying to go through this process.)

I am an August filer and I am still waiting for my biometrics appointment.

The day I do my biometrics, I am planning on submitting a SR to expedite EAD based on a job offer.

However, seeing some people in this thread still waiting for their EAD for more than 100 days even after submitting one or more SR is not very promising.

Congratulations. I have not been  working for 6 months and counting. I know how that feels.

Were any of the 4 SR an EAD expedite requests or they were just inquiries and follow-ups?

PD May 15 and two SR's that were supposed to have been answered by now that haven't even been assigned.

Husband called USCIS and asked to talk to a tier 2 officer.  Tier 1 officer agreed that there was nothing she could do for our case and transferred him.  Tier 2 kept trying to transfer him back to Tier 1 because there was nothing he could do.

Husband pushed about the SR's and the tier 2 told him they haven't been assigned and there was nothing he could do, we'll just have to wait for them to be assigned.  We were supposed to get an answer by AUGUST 30 and it hasn't even been assigned yet and he told us there's NOTHING he can do?!?

Husband is going to call back in an hour or two and try to get a more helpful tier 2.  If not he'll try to get the tier 2 to place yet another SR over the phone.

This is such a nightmare.  We just want his EAD, we don't care how long we have to wait for the green card.  We should have had it by now.

Try raising a 3rd SR online. I raised one on 31st July and got a response 30th August. I raised a second SR the next day and then a third yesterday. I called for a Tier 2 officer and got told that my case is at the Lee's Summit MO office and that it's still under review. She said that yesterday's SR was having a response sent and I may even receive my card in the mail with it.

She also said that it all depends on workload as to when it gets dealt with. She said that it's done in the order of when they receive it - not sure that's true because they had it when I raised the first SR so it has been way over a month that somebody has had their hands on it. She stated that it should take around two weeks from them receiving the case..

Got the email this morning to say that my case is STILL under review.

So I certainly suggest raising another SR and trying another Tier 2..

Best of luck today!
