I have several questions.....

1.    Ok...my fiance will be doing his interview soon, but I'm unsure what to do with packet 3. On timelines I am seeing sent packet 3 dates. Where am I sending packet 3 to? I thought packet 3 is supposed to be given to the interviewer, at the time of the interview, by the beneficiary. Is that incorrect?

2.    I was told for my fiance to bring a replica of the I-129F. I have a copy (that i will give to him to take to the interview) except I updated it with..... the new call logs, pictures, and evidence of meeting in person from my recent trip. I did how ever remove the copies of every page of my passports. I have 2 and that;s like 60 pages of paper. Should the new info be in a separate folder with packet 3? Should I still keep every page of my passport besides the data page? This is confusing me so much!

3.    Last question... after approval how long does it take to get the visa?

1) Packet 3 is to be submitted before the interview.

2) Yes give him a replica of the I-129F with subsequent updated call logs and what not as you mentioned.

3) Depends if his application is put under AP. AP can be short or long. Otherwise, should be issued within a few days.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

After reading many VJ members comments on Nigeria's very stringent immigration process, I'd recommend getting guidance from someone who's completed the Nigerian K1 Visa process recently.  Packet 3 information and requirements differ from country to country, and your process looks vastly different than the process I've completed personally.

A VJ member named @soulstriker recently completed K1 Visa process through Nigeria, and gave tons of useful information in other Nigerian VJ member's posts.  Perhaps @soulstriker can chime in here, or direct message contact him yourself.

There's nothing in Packet 3 to submit. You bring it all to interview (just please make sure you have all originals of the documents requested). Every embassy is different and Nigeria you bring everything with you.
No you don't have to have a copy of the I-129F. People mention that so the beneficiary knows what's on it and also what you submitted because this is where the CO gets the majority of their questions and many mess up not knowing.

14 day, 10 business days is the usual wait time.

There's no packet 3 or 4 for K-1 in Lagos. Once your case is ready at the Lagos Embassy,

you can pay the visa fee at GTB Bank. You will be able to schedule your interview with the payment

reference number online and it's pretty much straight forward from that point.
