You will have to ask the operator whether your case is in electronic system. If not electronic system select 7; if electronic system select 5. No wait time to talk to an operator if you choose 5.

Ah I see. I haven't been in a Costco for years. I live 3 hours from the city. A local photographer here does passport photos.  I am from a tiny village of 354 people in Southern Manitoba.

I just got off the phone with the NVC and was advised that our case is in administrative processing. The agent said that random packets are pulled every month for additional review. This is so frustrating, we have already been waiting so long. Does anyone know anything about this?

Hi. Lately I think applications have been backlogged but hopefully you get yours very soon. My received date is April 6. I'm at my 148th day. I'm hoping for some progress. We need more patience.

 

You could try calling uscis customer service and try to get to speak to a tier 2 officer. That seemed to help out some people. Goodluck.

Okay,... so I just sent my senator a letter which I will follow us tomorrow with a call to their office and a call to USCIS.

 

Again, despite the maddening waiting game, my fiancé and I are so thrilled to hear all of your approvals go through.  We are so happy for all of you.   And selfishly speaking, your approvals mean we get closer and closer to hearing something about our approval soon!  

 

I remember when I'd wait for weeks to months for that next trip between is-- either him flying here or me flying to Machester.   The weekly countdown was always one of joyful anticipation.  

 

Imagine... his next ticket here is a one way ticket!  (Two way because it's cheaper, lol).  

 

So, with all the prior trips we had wait periods of sometimes MONTHS.  The longest we'd ever been separated was 5 months and that was terrible.  So, when I put this daily waiting in perspective I really have to remember, the next trip here will be his final one.

So...funny story...Today is my country (well island's) 55th year of Amniversary so I went out with my cousins n aunts to have a few half priced beers...just came home and I got a notification from the app
