I guess some of you here really feel/felt the same way I do now. Maybe I'm just not very good at waiting, and I think that's a no-good trait. Nevertheless, thank you for your kind yet very true words. I'm hoping I we could have our NOA2 soon. I'm happy that I'm with my fiance now and we'll be waiting for it to get here. Thanks again for taking your time to type in. Somehow I felt better. I hope you good luck along the way ☺☺☺

No human is good at waiting and not knowing.  It's the ultimate torture.

I'm no prognosticator, but I believe you will hear in 3 weeks, just looking at where they are and where they haven't been.

The good news is, once you clear NVC, it is entirely at your pace and USEM is a very expedient embassy.  Who knows, You could actually catch up to us and we interview same day

That is the same thing that I got, just fill in the section on the page they sent, sign and date it and send it back.  I would suggest that you keep a copy of it before sending it back.  Make sure that you have it for reference later, just in case.

They actually created the case yesterday, according to what I can infer from the case number (day 236 of the year = August 24th).

Of course, the case is still 'AT NVC', but glad I don't have to keep bothering Gary to call them. Now the ball will be soon completely on my court :)

@tcovington I know you wanted to know this. Hope you have luck today too.

Congratulations Dear! Now you are officially on the next step 😊 another step closer to Gary. I'm so happy for you.  good luck!

Aww, thank you :)

The closer you are, the more impatient you feel for everything to be done, because there's so many steps ahead and so many things to plan. Oh well, I'll hope for things to move fast, but get ready for a slow pace and more waiting, because my Embassy can be kind of Gary-like at times... Relaxed :P

Aaaargh! So sorry to hear that. It is a major frustrating feeling :( I don't know why they move at different paces, and some take 6 days, others 16 and yet others take 6 weeks...

Best thing to do, call them, because they do not always send a letter/email.

Once you get the number from NVC, you can track your case to know when it's 'Ready' at the Embassy, though they will contact you.

Depending on the specific process for your country, there's things like the medical you can do before hand. Always check your Embassy website to know if that's the case. I can't do a thing until they contact me, except for having everything ready to mail it ASAP.

Give them 14 days to receive it from uscis

Call NVC and ask if they have it using WAC number  If they don't have it, try again in a couple days - repeat as necessary :)

When they have it, they will give you their number and use that number to track it on CEAC site

I thought about that too lol I think the affect is the same for all of us in the process. It just reflects on how we handle it. So I guess we need a lot more patience :) lol

Oh wow. Well I hope it gets here way earlier in 3 weeks time because gahhd my patience isn't where it should be. Well, I guess it's just a not-so-ok day for me today. But thanks for the uplift. You already have reached the nvc stage but I'm hoping that we do catch up.

Hi guys. By the way, I called uscis awhile ago and I was able to talk to someone. She was nice very polite so I was able to answer her questions well. She said the "We are still currently working on Feb cases" spiel but then I asked for a tier 2 officer then she says to wait a moment. So I was on hold. And then a voice prompt suddenly says they couldn't speak to me yet because there were no available officer for me to talk to and said for me to wait 28mins. and they will call back. Then the voice says I can hang up after the msg. And it's been an hour and a half and no calls yet. I don't know what to do. Should I call again later?

That's true. I was kind of wondering about that. Just following the crowd :) Thanks! Looks like my number isn't too far behind yours. Fingers crossed!

I'm actually convinced that yours will already be in the mail! The wait is so much harder with snail mail being the only way to know. Hang in there and I think you'll have it very soon.

Thanks for sharing that! What's interesting is that your case is still showing as 'Case was Received' on the Case Tracker app. I don't know whether to be excited about that or frustrated, as I must refresh it 7845200 times a day !

Have you managed to have a look at the embassy site to see what the current waiting time for an interview is at all? I bet you're so excited now!

I was the same (refreshing constantly) and now I realise that actually it was pointless because they just don't update the tracker at all. If your status is still received you can be around 90% sure that at least you don't have a RFE. Unfortunately that's all the tracker is good for!

I don't know what appointment times are like. That might be something to ask a U.K. Citizen on the march forum since they are at that point. I haven't got my case number yet so haven't looked what embassy wait times are like. Good luck and I hope your NOA2 is very soon! Maybe even today ^_^

Thank you! Still a bit until I get to the interview, since my Embassy is kind of slow and strict with previous steps: wait for them to contact you, send them documents, wait for them to received them and authorize you to book the interview, book the medical at least a week prior to that...

Oh well... I'll keep an eye on the tracker to see when it's finally here at least :jest:
