I was just thinking... Do you know how March fillers call themselves March Whiners? So maybe April Lepers fits us, given how nobody wants to touch our cases :P

Sorry, guys, silly joke time :)

In case you want to know, someone with a 3/28 received date was approved (4/3 notice date)... apparently they were approved on Tuesday and NOA2 is on its way. But they got their Senator involved, so not sure how representative is this... Anyway, they are working around those dates still.

Taxes are taken into account but I think the most important thing is your current income, as bad as what you were going to use to support yourself and your soon-to-be spouse.

I think the letter from your employer is very important because it will tell how much you make a year currently as well as the length of your employment and if it's temporary or permanent.  Those are the things that really matter.  I think you should be fine as long as you make over the poverty guideline for your household size.

Thank you so much! I'm still in search for a permanent position but the company is great. I was a full time student for the past 3 years on my taxes. So that's why I was thinking maybe showing my bank statement for current and past years would suffice for that part. 😊

So movement ... I think it is good and the notice system worked for some ... promising ... standby folks. Maybe we'll see some soon. I really needed to read that ... I have been down in the dumps. Particularly rough couple of days here, but hanging in there like a hair in a biscuit! :jest:

We hope any ways ... I am going to manage my expectations here ... I really had my hopes up for last week and when it didn't happen ... slammed down in the gutter ... don't want to do that again. The one girl saying her notice date was April 2nd or 3rd gave me a bit of a boost lol ... so we will see. I think it is absolutely possible that we may have already had a look and notices are on the way for early April filers, but I guess we wont know until the mail trucks arrive.

I know for a fact her notice date was April 3rd, because we had talked about her dates being same as other people here, and she told me to keep her updated if some of that people from April got their NOA2. So yes, they got the senator involved, but even with that, we saw other people with the same dates approved last week. So they have to be working those dates for sure.

April received dates is a different story (April Lepers!)... But they can't avoid us forever :)

It's USCIS Case Tracker App for Android, tbh I was messing around with it looking at the near-by cases and expecting to see nothing changed, there is an approval in the same list I've looked at 100 times of the few K-1's in that batch of 50 cases, I click on it and I'm like "That looks like my case number??? OMG... IT is my case number!" It just changed like 10 minutes ago.
