Like many before have let us know it is very stressful. And I so agree it puts loved ones and important plans in a box with a lock on it. Difficult for we that try to plan.

As long as we are in the game we will win! Win!  Stay in this game! The last of this message includes lazybones18... we all care! That is why we  are on this journey.

Stay in this game and win.... you are close!

Hey johnny! Thank you for being so helpful to others on here!

I have a question, if I wanted to contact congress because of my past due 6 month petition, how do I do that and what website? I'm from NYC .

Ok  if you are in New York City you can find the congress person the represents your district.. borough. ..Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn or.... yes you can learn that on Google. Then go to your representative's official website and you will see a direct link for immigration.

Click it. And read how they can help you. It is part of what they do... you will need to gjve them permission to act on your behalf and they will need details of your petition.

All the best!

Husband called by phone and asked for case status, Tier 2 tried to contact the officer reviewing our case but in vain so they opened this inquiry request for him and said it will be replied via letter in 14 days.

I manage to check the status of service request because i signed up an account for online update (you can register on the same page you check your case status on the official site https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do). That's how i get status update of each service request.
