I see, yesterday case ending 404 was updated on the USCIS tracker with an RFE. Ours end in 407, so hopefully we are close

good luckI I had two rfe near my case on was two wa mine ending in 32 the rfe 30... but ive heard nothing as of yet.. that was Friday...

It's been 120 days and still no RFE or NOA2. 

 

Just putting it in here so that others who have been waiting as long or even more know that they are not alone. Sadly not all of us can get a response in 80 some days... sigh. Stay strong March whiners.

Am with u.....we have the same received date March 15. My NOA 1 is March 22. Still waiting... this is really making me emotional

Quick update: My fiancé received NVC letter in the mail last Saturday dated 13/07/17. Case # received currently ceac site says Case Ready...🙌🏾🙌🏾 All the best March filers hang it there .🙏🏻

I called USCIS today. Spoke to the first one who told me my case is still received. I insisted on speaking with a supervisor or someone else, she had a tier 2 call me back. It was a very infuriating conversation. You will get no where with these people when calling in, what a waste of time seriously. I kept explaining cases after mine have been approved or got RFE and she said their cases were likely expedited and that theyre currently working on January cases. I said how can that be if the other day it said for K1 visas they were working on February 15th and suddenly they've gone BACKWARDS to January 1st?........ She kept saying that each case is different... as if I don't understand that lol. Of course not each case is the same. But it's ridiculous that they don't process them in the order received. Why should someone have to wait longer than another? I asked her can you at least tell me if my case has been assigned to someone or if i'm stuck in the background check case or SOMETHING to give me a little bit of hope. She said no your case is sitting on a shelf and it's within normal processing times (I kid you not, that's what she said). She then told me to email in with any other concerns. Ok I get it I haven't been waiting since February or something but still so aggravating, I'm coming up on a 120 day wait now and some people have already got their NVC done and/or medical and interview done! I'm getting so frustrated with this whole system what a joke.

Interesting what you can learn from talking to someone that had to wait 7 months from NOA1 for a NOA2 (without any RFE's)...... One filer told me something provocative: "I found that the folks on VJ who complete the timelines are usually the ones who get cases adjudicated in the 3 to 4 month range...others like myself who have to wait for 6+ months  grow frustrated and opt out....that is exactly why i posted.  Folks should know that there is as good a chance at 6 months or more as there is at three months..."

Or this statement after talking to his Congressional Rep:  "USCIS is unable to keep up with the workload, so they play a game with averages...many cases are done within the 100 day range and sometimes they get work on some of the cases in as little as 50 days.....in order to keep the average at 150 days...the rest they backlog and get to as part of their overtime.  from what i understand, employees are required to put in 35 hours of overtime per month...and this is when they get to the backlogs....it is all calculated."

 

So, as in a case like mine, and I have seen others around me 'touched' and I remain untouched..... Am I to believe that my case is complex? That my uncommon name and my boring past with absolutely no contact with police (even as a victim) is in a "background check abyss"?  I think I was selected as so many others as 'backlog'.  I also theorize as to why, but then that would be placing an allegation of age bias and without founding evidence - I'd just as soon not claim that.  But yet, think about the approvals and the yet to be approved......  I wonder if anyone else seems to draw out some kind of criteria for fast and slow approvals.

 

Today is day 125 receive / day 120 notice.   I hope someone does some overtime today and pulls my box.

Just received an email with packet 3 from the embassy in Stockholm, it took 19 days from NOA2 (including 4th of July weekend). I never got a case number from NVC.

Does neone no what really happens in the medical exam?

what kind of tests, shots (how many total) and X-rays ?

can the medical be done in one day only ?

does the dr. tell u at the end of the medical if u pass or fail?

We are Sweden as well!!! Congratulations! Our NAO2 was June 20, so any day now!!!

They mailed an RFE for a case 20 before mine yesterday with the same received date.  Closest movement I've seen.  I suppose it's too much to hope NOA2 could be close

Of course my timeline estimate has jumped up another week this morning after I'd finally entered the estimated date again
