It was approved on 19th of july. We got hard copy in snail mail

A little update.. So, my fiance went back to the US after spending more than a month here with me. The first thing he did when he got home is to check his mailbox. We are quite worry that the NOA2 is not there despite having received an email from the US Embassy in Malaysia to schedule an interview. 

 

Guess what? The NOA2 is in his mailbox. It was dated June 21, 2017 but he did not receive any email notification or USPS Informed Delivery notification (perhaps the system was down on that day) on it. Anyway, don't bother calling the USCIS service centre. We called them a few days ago when we received an email from the US Embassy in Malaysia. We wanted to know if the NOA2 has been issued since we received an interview email. The woman on the line told us that our case is still processing and no NOA2 has been issued. Note that this was one month after our NOA2 has been issued (according to the date on the NOA2 my fiance found in his mailbox). 

 

Don't worry guys.. Just check your mailbox more often.

 

Oh, by the way, what is "Package 3". I saw many people having that on their signature section. 

Packet 3 is generally sent by the consulate as an intermediary step prior to you being able to schedule your interview. It should list the documents you are required to collect prior to scheduling your interview. After submitting packet 3, you should be sent Packet 4 which gives instructions on getting a medical and scheduling your interview. Try typing "Malaysia Packet 3" into the search function and see what you find.

Oh yeah, it was amazing! One of the top concerts I've ever been to for sure. That's unfortunate you won't make that show. That's a killer lineup! Looks like that tour will pass though here in August as well... Might have to see if I can make it.

I love Rancid and haven't seen them live in like 13 years! I am kinda pissed about, but so it goes. Their new album is pretty good, too. Ah! I haven't been to a punk show in ages.
