I understand your point completely.

I talked to one of the girls from Brazil who did the same as I am planning to do. She advised me to email the American embassy in here and double check with them. If they say it's okay, I'll print it out as a proof to carry with me.

Once again, thanks for sharing it in here.

Good luck!

I've just received an email from the consulate with this answer:

So in other words, I just need to make sure it won't be a civil marriage. ☺

The 3 cases received on the 1st doesnt make a lot of sense since it was a random Wednesday. Degie from the Feb scans page thinks you might have missed some cases - possibly because the date was formatted differently (ie 03/1, 3/01 etc). My case was received on the 1st I believe, but isn't in either scan group.

27th February 2017 - Posted via 2-day UPS to Texas address

1st March 2017 - Arrived at Texas Service Center

7th March 2017 - Received email NOA1 and case number

3rd June 2017 - NOA2 notice date

8th June 2017 - Received hardcopy NOA2

26th June 2017 - Received NVC case number via email

4th July 2017 - Completed visa medical

11th July 2017 - Got fed up and emailed Packet 3 response to Consulate prior to receiving Packet 3 (case still "In Transit")

13th July 2017 - Received interview date (Packet 4)

Yup.. I tried to take the last WAC number in Degie's list and run scans from that number forward, but now I'm noticing that it probably wasn't the best thing to do as I may have missed some early March cases. I'm running scripts again going from that last WAC number on Dedgie's scans and running them backwards to make sure I get all of 3/2 and 3/1 cases... I'm also going to try to run my original scans if I notice a big gap to make sure I have ALL of them. With all these missing numbers, it does seem like March has over 4000 cases for the month. So we'll have to sit tight and be patient with USCIS and them processing out our NOA2's on time. Also to make room for the March cases I missed, I may have to remove the early April ones and then add them back as cases get approved and removed from the scans... So sorry to everyone and to those whose case I may have to remove from April.

I ask for patience in this. I'm not an IT type of person, even though it intrigues me, and am doing my best with what was given and explained. It takes a lot of time to explain what to do and how to do it and AkesAngel was amazing and then she went to visit her fiance (which is totally understandable) so I stopped bugging her and kind of went rogue on my own lol. I promise to have everyone's case numbers on the scans by the time they start touching March files.

My apology in advance for a silly question as i'm still quite new here and can't find information on this here.

For the scan in the googledrive sheet, was it done by accessing USCIS database or by using the information we provide on visajourney? I wonder how USCIS allows access into their case status database. This is for my curiosity, as well as for my fiance and me to know get a gauge on how many cases in total are being processed and how long we should expect to hear back from them. Is the USICIS case progress data shown here stored in a sort of open-source or accessible system?

Thanks everyone,

I am an early April filer and saw my number on the scans.. Hehe.. No worries if you have to remove us for a while, I think my co April whiners would understand as much as I. I think, you doing such effort for the March whiners and for the upcoming is highly appreciating. Me seeing my fiance's case number for awhile had made me happy and got a little more inspired. You did a good job. So thank you.. gosh, I do hope and pray a lot for this turtle-like process to move faster.. Good luck for all of us.. :-)

Thanks everyone,

The scans are pulling information from the USCIS website. It's just like the apps that will show you all the cases sent in for a certain period of time. We can only access so many cases (about 5000) before getting blocked out of the USCIS website and not being able to access it until the next day.

As for how many cases are being processed, I believe there's a few hundred left for Nov & Dec and then about 1300 left for Jan. They haven't really touched Feb so there's a few thousand cases from that month and then March had around 4000. USCIS usually processes a hundred or so cases a day, but this past week they haven't approved any cases, mostly RFE's and responses to RFE's... so we may have to wait another month or two for them to start touching March cases. I predict they'll start consistently touching March in late June/early July.

Yeah I think that's what is happening with me. My fiance laughs at me cus I will tell him "well on the forum they said this and that and blah blah" He's so clueless when it comes to the process and is always so positive and chipper about the whole thing because he has no idea how long so many people are waiting. He was shocked when I told him there are thousands of apps per month, he said "wow, that many people really fall in love with foreigners? I thought we were special!" :D haha. So yeah I think I will step away a bit until mid-late June at least when hopefully March approvals start coming in. It will probably do me some good and help me be much more productive with work and school anyway!

Omg I couldn't relate more to that. :D I'm trying to shut up and don't tell him every 10 minutes about what I read where. :D but I have a question to ask everyone.

its been 2,5 months since we haven't seen each other and it was never more than 3. So we're freaking out a bit and since the prediction for approval is July if we're lucky, and then there's like 2 months at least afterwards before I can come to him, we decided to see each other in July again. Meaning I'll be going to USA on esta as always. I'm little worried that because of this K1 thing pending, they could give me hard time. Could you please give me your opinion on this? Thank you

Just prepare a few things in case they doubt you'll go back ...

I'm just back from visiting my fiance in US ... I had no trouble at all at the POE, but had a letter from my mom (my daughter was with her for the time of visit) and a letter from my boss with expected date to be back in Germany. I didn't need it at all, but it felt better to have it.
