Hello pal! We have almost the same filing date. We filed on March 2nd, and my interview is ''ready to be scheduled for interview since April 9th"

Still no news from the EAD!

Hang in there pal!

I think I am in day 89 today unless I am mistaken. I'll wait until June 6th or so.

Good luck !

Glad someone is in the same boat as me :). Feel super helpless and frustrated. I tried calling today and they were super unhelpful and I am pretty sure she was reading off a script.

Keep me updated on your status!

I totally understand ! I have been kinda sleepless and stressed about it!

Try to call in the mornings, I called like two weeks ago but yes the guy didn't have too much information about it and he just told me that I have to wait. So let's see!

Good luck and of course I will let you know !

Hi, Everyone

Do you know if our Local Field Offices follow the processing time we see online?

Like for example my field office which is Raleigh, NC, it said there that for I-485/Adjustment of Status, they are still processing September 29, 2016,

does it mean that I still have to wait until it becomes March 2017 to get an interview schedule?

Thank you.

Thank you for the answer. I got RFIE for AOS. They received my answer at April 19, and i got my biometrics at April 20. I didn't know they start before biometrics appt. Because pictures must be taken for EAD also. So it should extend my case for 2 weeks then. I hope not. But i will try to put service request anyways. It will do no harm. Maybe it will do good :D

It wouldn't hurt to call USCIS and ask the question. If you get someone who can't help you I'd recommend being polite and calling back another time.

I was able to reach a staff member who was able to tell me a lot more than I could get online with the case number(s), including the EAD clock.

Whatever that date is maybe that bit of certainty will help the burden a little?

I asked the same question to USCIS, the answer wasn't straightforward.

The scheduling of an interview is performed by your local office. From what I was told for most offices you are stuck with the 'processing cases as of' date as your guide as to whether your case is within the expected processing timeline and nothing more. Luckily it is rather conservative. People are having their cases transferred to their local office and interviews scheduled well before this date reaches their PD.

Some offices supply actual processing performance, unfortunately this does not include NBC/MSC. If your case has been transferred or you have reached 'ready to be scheduled for interview' you might be able to get something more precise from USCIS?

I think you are right and I will just leave it at that.

I will just wait patiently. If it happens then good, but for now, I am okay waiting.

Thank you for sharing the information you got from them, @Babigau. Goodluck to you and to all of us here!!!

May ALL OF US receive positive news before this week ends!!!!

Hi Guys,

New to the forum. Wondering if anyone can give any input on their experience with filing times/ dates.

Submitted AOS etc March 3

Biometrics done April 17

Notice of interview ready to be scheduled April 24

... since then nothing. My EAD and travel have not been updated since March 3rd and I am going on day 89 now. I called USCIS and the woman on the phone told me it could be another 2-3 months until I receive anything, which seems a bit crazy. A friend of mine who is a Feb filer in New York received his EAD mid May, so hoping these times are incorrect.

Any advice, thoughts, comments etc? Starting to panic... :)

USCIS received application on March 2nd, received my EAD in the mail on May 19th, no expedite request. Don't panic as some February filers are still waiting

Quick update on my EAD/AP case: I just called USCIS about my pending EAD/AP status and the woman on the phone made a service request and gave me a confirmation number. I guess now I have to wait for an officer to get back to me.

Anyone know how long that usually takes until someone gets back to me?

I was also able to ask if my pending I-485 is still at the NBC or already on its way to the field office down here to Atlanta. As of right now, the I-485 is still at the NBC and within the normal time frame and the woman said that the officer who processes my case is the one who decides if I get an interview waiver or an interview letter. So the waiting game is still on for that case...

I raised a service request this morning and do we see any update online if a case is assigned to an officer. How long does it normally take for a case to get assigned to an officer.
