Our housing of African Americans into certain 'neighborhoods' did not turn out so well did it ?

Whites did not want to live near blacks, lines were drawn, now this seems to be happening to the immigrants in their housing blocks

where they are separated like lesser humans.
You can't have it both ways, you want integration and assimilation but yet you would not welcome an immigrant/refugee neighbor.
Packing them into blocks like cattle does not help things. Interact with immigrants, hire them, greet them instead of bashing them.
Treat them like human beings.

I got a Mexican neighbor and I am housing a legal immigrant in my house. I helped a legal immigrant who was in a real bind , buy a car the other day. The guy that helps me maintain my rental property is a legal African immigrant. My niece is about to be a legal immigrant as are her two kids. The guy we buy all our gas from at work and who I  trade with every day is a legal Indian immigrant. My partner at work is a legal immigrant. 

 

I think legal is the key word here.

That is great. I applaud you, now can you do the same about refugees ? The whole Sweden thing was about refugees. There is

nothing illegal about refugees that are vetted and processed and fleeing the violence in their country, agreed ?
Can you be objective enough to admit that they too are relevant here or in Sweden and not all troublemakers ?
Your comments led me to believe otherwise, especially what you said in regards to the jobs. My friend is married to a Syrian doctor,

our hospitals are full of doctors from Syria, Iraq, Iran and they do an awesome job. They don't take away jobs from American doctors
because we simply don't have enough. Instead of speaking out against refugees 24/7 ask yourself why Americans aren't motivated

enough to pursue a high education.

There is plenty of talk in these forums about cutting the number of legal immigrants in half too.

Bills are in the workings of being introduced to do just that. Do not pretend that legal immigrants are all yay ok if your party wants

to cut the numbers in half and that I put all immigrants into one pot. I do not.

Sure there is a shortage, especially when they get bombed 24/7.
I don't dispute that. It's not like a Syrian doctor can just open his office and roll with it right now.
Many go back to their country, many do not not, many do both back and forth.
I used the doctors as an example, you can apply it to any job.
My point was to show you that yes 1 in 4 foreign doctors exist here because you brought up teachers, doctors and engineers,

careers foreign individuals from MENA and Africa supposedly not pursue and are therefore expendable leeches on society.

You cant really. We do need doctors but not hordes of undocumented laborers, wait staff, etc. Not when we have many many millions not working and claiming they cant find work.  You want the min wage to go up. Stop flooding the country with cheap undocumented labor.

 

As paying greater scrutiny to immigrants from high Terrorist activity countries (its no coincidence most are majority Muslim) it would be foolish to do otherwise. Why do you think its much harder for a Filipino to come visit american that a brit ?

My issue here is not about the undocumented, that is another story all together.
My focus in this topic is refugees from Mena and the rest of Africa in Sweden or here, aren't violent no good for nothing scum bags that cause
riots. Some are, most aren't. That's it. No use to go 9 pages arguing back and forth about it.

This thread has morphed from Trump's "last night in Sweden" comment to refugees in Sweden.

The incident in Sweden proves nothing. It does not change the fact that the president and his staff are constantly making serious accusations without any data to back it up. Other than the fact that nothing had happened in Sweden when President Trump made that statement, there is also no data available to show that immigrants/refugees are responsible for crime waves there.

I supported Donald Trump during the election, and I still think that Hillary would be far worse. But I don't have heroes in politics. So far, I do not agree with pretty much anything he did when it comes to immigration. Plus I think that he made poor choices for his staff and advisors, and that's where these inaccurate statements come from.
