Well today is Day 107 since NOA 1.

3 day weekend which means no processing on Mond:dead:y

 

Noon here so I ran the USCIS app.

I show only 8 cases left out of over 350

from 10/31 receipt date.

 

:P Petition Approved :P

 

15 weeks and 2 days for our NOA 2

 

Congrats to all the recent approvals and NVC activity.

 

We already have an appointment for CFO next week which is specific to Philippines.

 

Hang on for others still waiting doubtful you will have to wait 107 days.

Great!! So happy to hear that you guys finally got approved, that was some waiting.Things are moving from this point on. My case was in NVC for 2 weeks now in Taiwan will be delivered to embassy rather  American Institute in Taiwan, there Monday ( Chinese would be upset if I called it embassy) Hopefully in a month or so she will have her visa. New life on head of us.

Guessing if you got it from VJ something based on member input but the only thing you should be following is Geo's report daily. You will drive yourself crazy looking at all the stats and processing times out there. Enjoy the long weekend and try to do something to take your mind off of it ?

Not much - the algorithms are a bit skewed on the VJ stats.  I think someone asked this before fairly recently.

 

If you want to know what is currently being processed, look at @geowrian's reports.  That shows you which date is currently being processed - and it comes from the USCIS data - not the VJ input.

 

The dates in the VJ table are always ahead of where we actually are for some reason - I thik it might be due to people inputting incorrect information in their timelines.

I have scheduled my medical already - and although it says in the email from the clinic that I need to take copy of the letter from the embassy I am hoping it will be okay.  I have completed my DS-160 all except for uploading my photo and clicking send.  I think it might depend on the beneficiary's country - might be best to look on the forum thread for the embassy/country for more accurate information now.

That's good news for you! I thought you can choose your own date for the interview?? 

you track it as immigrant visa - but then K1 visas have different requirements within that - it will tell you to complete the DS-160

 

Once your visa is approved after the interview it changes from immigrant visa to non-immigrant again

You will okay with your medical, just take your passport, your embassy appt letter or interview confirmation to your appointment. For the Ds160… my fiancee wasn't given an option to upload a photo.  I'm not sure if this is normal or a different process. His confirmation letter for DS160 said the following.....

So I should get my ds-160 submitted before my medical - and schedule my visa appointment before my medical...  NVC hasn't sent my case to the embassy yet (not sure why) but I do have all the appropriate case and reference numbers from the NOA2 and from Aaron's call to the NVC.

 

I think I will hold off scheduling my visa interview until I know that NVC has sent it to London - which won't be before Tuesday I imagine.  I have my medical booked for 6th March so I have a couple of weeks to get some kind of confirmation that my case is proceeding.  I imagine there are slightly different ds-160 requirements depending on beneficiary's country.  Pretty sure i have to upload a pic for London.

Yes I'm just gunna follow geos report I just saw that and was like what's this lol and thank you im happy to be working these 3 days coming to keep my mind busy ?

you can try tracking it using dhl tracking,its kind of tricky to do but once you figure out the proper date format it is easy
