Really Art786? I'm a December filer. Life circumstances have meant that it has already been 14 MONTHS since I've seen my fiance. I would give anything for one of us to be able to just up and visit.

Sometimes visits just arent possible or realistic at all. We've been hit by continual bad circumstances. Sure i could send myself broke visiting my fiance now but then we wouldn't be able to afford for me to relocate in however many months this process ends up taking. We all do what we have to.

Well, my friend, no one sad that long distance relationship is cheap, but is affordable for a average working person. Think you are well over due for a trip.   http://flights.msn.com/en-us/flight-search

It doesn't really matter tbh. You can't sponsor a tourist visa so having your own visa doesn't have an impact on the process. Also, invite letters usually don't help the process (again, because you can't sponsor a tourist visa)...and sometimes they backfire as they show ties to the US. CBP generally doesn't care why somebody is coming to the US. They care about why somebody is compelled to leave the US, which means proving ties to return home.

Thanks Geo :) this helps.. i guess my family would wait till the time i get my k1, give my wedding of course a reason to visit US, and show ties back to india so of course they r cming back :)

Its time and money issue. As much as want her to fly and visit me (since i don't have visit visa to see her) and pay for her flights (which is also not a problem cos I have stable job), we can't just sit & relax while we crack our heads if we will make it or not to meet the poverty guideline. Lucky for those who earns a lot, but for us - her job is the most important thing to take care of right now. Saving up is the best thing to do for now too. I don't wanna be a burden to my fiance when i relocate to the US and be jobless for few months.

We'll be together soon! I know it's not just me & you're right, this place is like my therapy haha. We're all in this together.

Val

@Valex could not agree with you more.the last thing I want is for her to think I'm a lazy bum who just sits around waiting for things to happen.

But with that saying all we want is just to be with our spouses an just hold them again.

My fiance was scheduled to be here with me for a month but her jobs more important so I have to sacrifice her so she can survive to pay her bills.

Not long now till noa2 comes so we nearing the hopefully end with this process.

It takes lots of communication, love, and waking up early to speak n face time with your spouse to get you through the day,I'm just lucky I get to speak to her everyday and every night,I know some folks arnt as lucky.

Best of luck to you an your

Fiance ,may you have a speedy process and good outcome.

;)

My fiancé have received the letter with our case number on it ! It seems like the case is traveling to France just right now ! Youhou ! I have to work on the interview stuff right now.

Question, i have seen that we need to "continue" the proof of relationship, i mean put the new event on a file to go to the interview, is it still true?

Thank you by advance for your answer :)

I am a December filer. I check the processing times monthly and as of today every service center is listed as July 28, 2016 as of December 31, 2016? Can anyone explain this to me? It's discouraging to see it go from August 2016 to this on the USCIS site and simultaneously encouraging to hear so many late November cases are being approved, and talk of December being as soon as next week.

Hey Visamountain,  If I was you, I would not pay that any attention. As you can see here, November  (early, mid and late) cases are being worked and APPROVED.  This group reports the real-time data?.

Again your lack of empathy is astonishing. Not every couple can afford to pay for visits. Either money, work or other circumstances may affect visiting your partner. You should try to be careful with your words.

It has been said in the past that you're quite rude and I support their claims.

Appreciate your point of view.

Well hello to the November filer thread - Part 2.

It's been a while since I posted glad to see Geo, Art, Vogann, and others are more than holding the fort down.

Just loving it here in the Philippines.

Well today is Day 107 since NOA 1.

3 day weekend which means no processing on Mond:dead:y

Noon here so I ran the USCIS app.

I show only 8 cases left out of over 350

from 10/31 receipt date.

:P Petition Approved :P

15 weeks and 2 days for our NOA 2

Congrats to all the recent approvals and NVC activity.

We already have an appointment for CFO next week which is specific to Philippines.

Hang on for others still waiting doubtful you will have to wait 107 days.

Jim

I am super happy for you and your wife 2b. ¡Congratz!
