Hi everyone! Just another Feb filer who's been lurking the forums but finally decided to create an account to join in the conversation.

I just want to thank everyone on here who has been so positive and supportive, it's nice to know that my fiance and I dont have to be alone in this journey! I check back on this fourm almost daily and I cant wait until everyone starts getting approved. My fiance (currently with me in the PH) and I are a bit worried of the delays in approval because we're hoping to fly out to NYC by August and get settled there -- but fingers crossed and praying daily :)

Hope to hear more good news tomorrow!

AOS Timeline: Camie (Beneficiary)

Dec 08, 2017:               Married!
June 23, 2018:             Filed AOS (we waited until our savings reached above poverty guideline since we both moved here from the PH with basically nothing)

Aug 20, 2018:              Biometrics (I asked to reschedule but USCIS never sent a new date, so I did walk-in.)
Nov 5, 2018:                Received RFE for I-864 joint sponsor

Last time I checked there were a handful of November cases left, about 300 December cases, and something like 1500 January cases. Their rate seem to be ~2-300 cases/day. So unless I'm way off we should at least start seeing February cases touched in a week. ...hopefully :)

They are barely working in December and January cases this week for some reason, which is something to concern about. I think actually they approved none yesterday for January and just 1 for December, or something ridiculous like that.

So be patient for a little bit longer just in case, and hopefully this is just a couple of training days and they pick up the pace again today. Wishing and hoping is free :)

I am sure they are going through training, hence the delay and basically minimal progress. Hope they discuss on how to get back on track.

Food for thought....I am starting to think that as part of procedure, they word have to read/review every supporting evidence that we need to submit. Is it at all possible this is another reason why they are behind? Since some applicants decide to send hundreds of pages of chat logs?

That's a scary thought...it would take them a lot longer if they had to read every piece of evidence thoroughly. That would be a job I would enjoy having however, with me being the curious/nosy person I am. :P

Right? You'd get ideas on writing a books on romance. I hope they didn't submit the erotic conversations hahaha

There's an interview with a guy that used to work at USCIS on VJ. If memory serves he said he'd have a check list of things to look for. So I don't think they waste time reading everything we send. They might read a lot if they feel the need but part from that.. :)

found it (it's a bit hidden), very interesting read: http://www.visajourney.com/content/adjudicator-q-and-a

USCIS will conduct system maintenance on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 9 p.m. – midnight (Eastern)

Could this be why no updates on approved filers happened? 🤔

Could we have another rogue box?

Just notice there was an RFE on 4/27 on a case filed 2/14.  I confirmed it was not expedited.

I counted (with a little help from Excel) 3598 cases total. 40 approved thus far. Leaving 3558 untouched.

Have cancelled / rejected cases been removed? 3558 seems a tad high...

Boo! The estimated date on my timeline is just creeping further and further away. It's gotten into June now :(
