the time they take to process this, might be worth waiting the 2 years so you can enter as a citizen

You won't a citizen but atleast you will have a 10 year green card versus the 2 year one. I get you though.

Heck it may just comr to that for a lot os Nebraska filers we will end up waiting almost that length of time.

Harsh2010,

Im going to immigration today in the city where I live so I'm praying to get answers from someone there verses making calls getting the same old story of " be patient" OR telling me I'm in the process timeline.

Nebraska os definitely being talked abt and after I leave there I'm meeting with congressman and senators here as all us Nebraska filers of sick of being placed on back burner. We see others getting approved from other service centers and it's sickening now...Frankly I'm tired of all this delayment...

Keep you posted on my findings...

WISH ME LUCK EVERYONE...

Nice !! Good luck man

i hope at least one of them comes through , and maybe senators can open their eyes and see how people especially newly weds , are suffering and have to stay away from their wife / husbands for almost an entire 1st year of marriage.

Yes eyes 👀 need to be open to all this suffering we are doing. I've been married to my husband since Feb 1, 2016 and still waiting to live with him...

I use Houston IAH and have never had a problem i always say purpose is to visit husband. Have never been sent to secondary either. I have been asked why we don't get married before we got married. I have made 3 trips since submitting petition in January and I've planned another for our anniversay. Honesty is the best policy. I am thankful that my husband can travel to see me often.

Yes I guess it depends on luck, inmigration officers are hard to deal, you just dont know when they will pick on you! But again be honest is the best idea, and for me avoid houston

Went to immigration and nothing new learned except told it can take 12 - 15 months. That is not what I wanted to hear... Talked of how all other service centers are ahead of Nebraska and he said they are suppose to even out the case loads but we all know that is not happening, so here we still sit.

Congressman and senators are next to visit just as soon as I can get in to see them. I think I have connections at work to get to meet with them in person so I pray for face to face time
