I'm very worried - http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/index.php?trim=no&cty=&cnty=Canada&page=1&dfilter=5&topic=

on the most recent review, apparently the interview is supposed to be booked as a non-immigrant visa. I think I booked mine as an Immigrant visa! This is confusing. How do you know which type it is booked as?! Can anybody from Canada help

Congrats @PR&PR. We are happy you finally be with your loved ones.

My fiance called NVC today but they haven't received it yet and said that it could take up to 6 weeks. Our received date is July 31st. Should we wait until next month?. Or should we try again to call next week?.

anyone here same situation as me? Or NVC had a problem?

Its so frustrating and upsetting 😢😢😢

NOA1 January 20 2017

May be you can call the consulate in your country?they may have your case already. I   have a friend their case was already at the consulate, but they missed their case until called them.

I would keep calling them, it's not like they have records of when you call. So you don't lose anything, but yeah definitely wait 2-3weeks, so you don't lose your time.

Hey Guys!

my NOA1 was January 10th and we received an RFE on July 22nd (they received our response on July 25th)

I think they must hate us! Haha

Anyway, I've seen some comments regarding an RFE deadline or a case deadline (I don't really know!) Can anyone shed some light on this?? I'm getting impatient.

Also - should our case status change online first or should we receive the hard copy via mail?? I feel so far behind everyone else!!!! Is anyone else waiting for their RFE to be responded to??
