Your wife is not acting good and is delaying paying fee's? Why don't you pay them? Kinda strange..

No there is no time line. As long as you keep touching base once every 9 months (I think? maybe a year?) it'll stay active. I hear you will be put on the back burner though and if you want your case brought back up it takes longer.

Hey there.

Hopefully it will be of use to someone. We just got our CC confirmed over the phone (in exactly 2 months - receive date was Nov 18).

Good luck and patience to everyone still waiting!

Any ideas how long it usually takes from CC to when the embassy schedules the interview?

Thanks!

Jenia

Congrats!  A couple of us had our cases complete last week, and have not heard as yet about an interview.  Based on feedback from others here, it looks like they schedule interviews during the first 2 weeks of the month for the following month.

I-130 (for parents of US Citizens):

8/19/2022: NOA (IOE0917XXXXXX); Texas Service Center

7/22/2023: Both (parents) petitions approved

7/27/2023: Both cases sent to NVC

8/8/2023: Received NVC welcome email for both parents

Good luck everyone we're almost their

After waiting 1/2 hour this morning on hold, and I called right at 7am too, got told the same ####### story of waiting upto 6 more weeks after being put on superviser review....

tried to challenge her on why it still says 2-4 weeks when i log in to our case, but she insisted that has now been changed to show 6 weeks!  Still shows 2-4 on mine....

Got told to call back in 2 weeks this time instead of next week!!  Feel like I am done calling them, but I know I have to keep on it....

I requested a supervisor callback last night (and the poor rep was nice but all flustered because I started blubbering at the end). Husband and I are feeling anxious and stressed and miss each other terribly... Almost 15 months living apart now. Still holding out hope for this week...

You need to contact the NVC once a year for your case to remain active. Besides that, you can postpone the case for years, if you want to. I hope you and your wife work things out!

I totally agree, my husband and I have been married 12 yrs this sept and it's taking far too long, we have 2 children between us and I cannot see our oldest boy and he cannot see our youngest boy...  they need to hurry the hell up!!

Ouch, I understand that pain.  I cannot see my daughter and my wife cannot see my son on a daily basis. Hope this hell is over for both of us soon.

aidensbubba & TokyoHNL: I can completely relate to both of you, as I have two children in the US while I'm in Egypt. I've been married to my husband almost 8 years. Although I am with him and our daughter, it's still so difficult being away from my sons so long. I hope for you all a CC in these coming days. Good luck. :)

Hi Guys! First time poster but excited to finally have what we think is good news. Just logged in to the CEAC site and saw the 3 N/As, trying to get someone from the NVC on the line but they have their Front End Message saying no one's available and it hangs up. Fingers crossed that we're finally moving forward with our case after what feels like too long.
