Hmmm, this is really strange. Yeah, I suggest to make an infopass and also they will notify you online (if you singed up on their website) when they send you anything so maybe you can call his sister when it happens and ask her to try and get it for you.

Hi Folks, I am flying now. I  left NYC 10 hours ago. I was able to fly over the North Pole, Arctic Sea and right now I am flying over the Ural Mountains in Russia. I will arrive in Japan within 4 hour

Ha. I think I have seen where I messed up. When i read your questiom i went baack to look at the form. I filled out our address together in Part 1 (6) then i put the safe address in Part 1 (7). It looks like i should have left part 1 (6) blank?

Thank you. I just checked, there are no available appointments in our local office. Sigh. I think i messed up filling out the form. I will try to do a change of address. If my husband gets his hands on my mail he will not give it to me.

I think you skip part 1 items 1-6 and go straight to item 7 if you are a VAWA self-petitioner.

Has anyone received an approval or an RFE from VSC recently? The website says they were processing April 10 applications on Dec 31. I have no idea what they are processing currently. My submission was received Jul 6th, 2016.

I'd say wait 60 days and then try to inquire. If you have an attorney ask him to call Vermont and ask about the status of the application. I filed mine in October, so still a long wait...

Why don't you just try and do a walk in. They will most likely accept you if you explain the situation.

My application was received on july 6th too. Since I received my EAD. I have heard nothing. I am going to contact my congressman nxt week if I don't hear something soon. If you have a lawyer, have him/her call them. They also will not respond to any letters notarized or not.

Question for psych eval

 

I found a licensed psychologist to conduct psych eval for SIL for 200.00.  He is not experienced with VAWA, but he will complete the evaluation.  All the other VAWA referrals for psych eval are charging anywhere from 500.00 - 1200.00 for the eval.

 

Is there any information I can specifically give him to put in the psych eval report. How many pages, what information are they looking for in the eval?   I did touch on PTSD, depression, anxiety, and behaviors that she is currently engaging in that she has not been before.  Is there anything else I should tell him?

  Tortmaster I think your best bet is to immediately submit form "AR-11" change of address and mail it express to make sure it's done ASAP
