thank you - I think that might have been where I last looked a while ago.  How accurate do you think those figures are?  (considering the charts also say that i-129Fs with an NOA1 date of November 27th are currently being processed...)

Only as accurate as the data users submit. :P But NVC processing is more consistent...less of this high and low progress days. Filtering the data to just the last 90 days shows roughly 30 days from NOA2 to consulate, which isn't too shabby.

Edit: Well, yeah...but VJ isn't wrong there. Somebody with a Nov. 27th NOA1 was processed. That's the latest I-129F processed, but is misleading in that it's not the average or to be expected.

My partner sent the application in the first week of November and so far we have only received a letter saying they got the application.

He called them last week and they said to expect an answer after 5 months, is this normal?

Hello! I have a question about d-160. Can the petitioner fill this out? Or does it have to be the beneficiary? Thank you

So excited for you!  Getting the news a little late, but I'm very happy for you both.  And it's very exciting because it means that 11/04 is shortly behind you...hopefully, I know no guarantees.  Wow, you must be so relieved.  Yes, I think it's great!

Do we know if the NVC is still slow or have they caught up a bit since the slowdown at USCIS?

it was up to 21 to 30 days over the last 3 months or so but since CSC slowed way down on case processing for I-129F the wait at NVC has dropped as well.

There were a few recently in and out of NVC around 12-15 days.

There is another member or 2 who I am monitoring as well, currently in NVC.

I believe your/his timeline needs to be updated to show CSC (California Service Center) - Texas is just the intake office it is then worked by CSC and not an official transfer.

5 months is NOT normal for approval of the I-129F however at present time it could very well take you 5 months from start to finish as in VOH (Visa in Hand)

Welcome aboard.
