Really? I keep hearing conflicting information. Some people say months. I don't know what to believe. I hope you're right. Thanks for the boost because I am feeling rather despondent at the moment.

Well it was a bit of sarcasm. The timelines here on VJ for approvals has been WAY off.

Originally mine said approval by Dec 8th. I have NOA 1 of November 2nd it has been pushed forward time and time again.

we are day 78 now.

I am building in the maximum time - I think the consulate has to process the visa within 90 days of receiving the application.  So I am looking at this as worse case scenario - It seems to be taking aorund 65-70 days for London at the moment.

It's the same with Montreal; I read that their average is 60 days to process the visa after they receive the application.  Like you, my fiancé and I are really hoping for a summer wedding, but at the moment, the math is pretty depressing.  My fiancé, however, remains optimistic.  He doesn't look at VJ or the app, which is probably better for his mental health, haha.  Lately, I have been so discouraged that he has been doing comedy routines on the phone imagining all of the things the workers at the CSC could be doing instead of processing applications.  I am thankful for his sense of humor during this long wait.  I hope they pick up the pace so both you and my fiancé can be in Minnesota soon. :)

Having problems loading photos here for some reason.

Anyway 10/31 shows 4 approvals and 0 RFE's today.

That makes the total

132 approved

72 RFE

157 unworked

Plus or minus 1 or 2 from the range that others have used.

Hope we have some weekend action.

So this happened today:

"White House chief of staff Reince Priebus sent a memo to federal agencies instructing the bureaucracy to cease issuing new regulations and to enact a federal hiring freeze."

Hopefully this means that USCIS can contract out the work instead to get these applications processed.
