YBHamster here is the BEST UPDATE of the MONTH so far!!!

I've been tracking 10/31 receipt dates on the USCIS App.

As previously stated they approved only 38 of over 350 and it took them nearly 2 1/2 months.

The Big news is today alone they approved 34 MORE cases from 10/31.

Just incredible.

I'm not sure if this much work got done in 1 day or they did these over the course of the month and  decided to batch them out in large bulk approvals but there it is for everyone to digest.

Bottom line we have some serious movement from USCIS CSC today.

These 34 are just from 10/31 so I'm sure there will be many other NOA 2's issued from other dates as well( I Hope )

Receipt for 10/31 now stands at 72 Approved 35 RFE with 244 left to go.

Hey Nowrya! Just wanted to let you know that you are not alone in that boat. We mailed out our petition on October 15 as well, and it was received on October 18. We got RFE late November, replied and since December 8 when the response to RFE was received by USCIS there was no movement on our case at all.

I got Casse Tracker App for Apple and using Search feature on the lower dashboard (thanks to Jim for showing it!) I just found out that there were 101 I-129f petitions filed among 500 cases (the max I can search), if I use as a starting number the number of my case. Among those 101 cases 82 were approved, 1 was rejected due to improper filing, 17 were issued RFE and didn't respond to the date, 7 cases  (including ours) were issued RFE, responded, but decision still wasn't made, and finally 6 cases wasn't touched and still have status Case was received.

I hope it helps.

It is very frustrating to see how others get their approvals every day, yet you are left in limbo without any clue what is going on. I thought our case was "easy" - not a high-fraud country, no age gap, same religion, same level of education, yet it takes so freaking long... The only thing that comes to my mind is that the petitioner had been in a military for 26 years (now retired).

Sorry for a long rant, but waiting is killing me. And I apologize for my mistakes, I am the beneficiary, English is not my native language.

Would they hold a case due to an age gap? My fiancée and I have a 13 year age gap. But I don't see why that would be of any concern.

I am self employed, I don't know if that would cause any problems. But I didn't even receive an RFE.

I keep worrying that they lost my case. I've read stories of people waiting 1 - 2 years for an NOA2.

As others have done on the thread, I just found out the number of I-129f petitions received on my date is 336. There were literally thousands of I-130's received on the same day. I really wished I was married by now, but I am sure glad that I am not in the I-130 camp as it would definitely take longer to have it reviewed. We actually thought about that when we got engaged because we had no problem getting married that day, but wanted to go through the process that would be the fastest. Hope you all did the same.

11/18/16 - I-129F Package sent!

11/19/16 - Delivered at Dallas Lock Box - per USPS

11/28/16 - NOA1 SMS/Email - Routed to CSC

12/02/16 - NOA1 Hard Copy Received

I also thought ours would be an easy case being the same age, religion, education level, submitted with overwhelming evidence of our relationship and being together. Hopefully when it is reviewed it will be a fast review for the officer and give a quick approval.

13 year age gap is not something that I would consider even the slightest issue. When I say age gap I mean something like a man is 30 years older, or a woman is 15+ years older. Yet we see here on VJ such cases approved often if the relationship is bona fide and couple has enough proof. Also, you beeing self-employed is not an issue at all on this stage, IMHO. You will have to prove on the interview stage that you have enough means to support your fiancee, hence I don't believe it can cause a delay. If I were you I would consider contacting the office of your congressman to make an official inquiry. I read it often helps to draw attention to the case.

Hi Nowrya,

Can you load a screen shot of your Android app the search function? There may be charts but it could be hidden, I didn't know about them on IPHONE app until I played around with it.

There are people from Aug and Sept who have not yet been approved so you are not alone.

Plenty of us miserable people out there waiting still.. LOL

Maybe just let us know as this number changes it may benefit others here who have same date as you 10/18 but don't have access to the app

For I-129F they are mainly looking at you the American to insure you meet all the requirements.

At Embassy level they look at them and your relationship. As long as no fraud intent by either than they will approve if all else is met.

Embassy in Manila regularly approves 40 plus year age gaps so your 13 is nothing. Mine is 25 year difference with my fiancee.

You bet! Happy to help my fellow sufferers. Anyway, I've been spending an unhealthy amount of time on VS and USCIS website lately.

The I-130 numbers are deceiving they are not all for spousal. Many are for petitioning of parents, siblings and children.

But yes CR-1 Spousal Visas do take much longer for the entire process however when they arrive they already have status unlike K-1 who has to pay $1,200 and adjust AOS.
