Huma Abedin warned Clinton's campaign team that Hillary would have to 'stick to her notes' at an event because she was 'still not perfect in her head.'

The personal emails, belonging to Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta, were published by WikiLeaks on Tuesday.

The exchange in April, 2015, came at the end of a discussion between the Democratic candidate's aides about Jeb Bush's utilization of Super PACs.

'I will leave commenting on campaign tactics to others. What I have made absolutely clear is that corporate money and secret money have no place in our democracy and we should get rid of it once and for all,' said the campaign's chief strategist Joel Benenson.

Abedin replied, with many of Clinton's advisers CC'd in, that: 'She's going to stick to notes a little closer this am, still not perfect in her head.'

The aide's email dates to April 21, 2015 - just a few days after Clinton kicked off her presidential campaign.

And it appears the aides' concern continued as they repeatedly discussed Clinton's head according to leaked emails.

In September of that same year, Podesta wrote to Communications Director Jennifer Palmieri to ask: 'How bad is her head?' in an email with the subject line 'Any sense of whether and when she wants to talk?'

Don't know,' Palmieri replied. 'Huma left here about an hour ago. I just pinged again to ask about prep, haven't heard back.'

The emails suggest that Clinton's health was a frequent topic of concern since she suffered a concussion and 'cracked head' during a fall in December 2012.

Doctors discovered a blood clot in her head during examinations and Clinton was forced to take a month's absence to recover. By 2013, her doctors said that her treatment was successful and she'd had a 'complete resolution' to the episode.

But the latest Wikileaks dump appear to show that her aides were still concerned.

In another email released by WikiLeaks, Abedin suggested a Clinton speech should be shortened 'because it's a bank of Mics and no podium.'

The message suggests that not having a lectern for Clinton to lean on was a serious concern.

An email released in 2013, as part of Freedom of Information request, revealed that Clinton was 'often confused', according to Abedin.

The exchange between Abedin and aide Monic Hanley opened with Hanley saying that Clinton 'was in bed for a nap by the time I heard that she had an 8am call. Will go over with her.'

'Very imp [sic] to do that,' Abedin responded. 'She's often confused.'

The email prompted concerns that Clinton could be suffering from a traumatic brain injury (TBI) after her 2012 concussion.

Questions about the former first lady's health were raised again last month after she stumbled while leaving a 9/11 anniversary event in New York.

While the campaign initially tried to blame the episode on dehydration, on the particularly hot September day, they were later forced to reveal that Clinton had been diagnosed with pneumonia.

A new television ad from Donald Trump's campaign, released earlier this month, raises questions about Clinton's health and her fitness to run for office.

Using footage of the 68-year-old's fainting episode last month, along with clips of her being assisted up the stairs and coughing, the ad is titled, 'Danegrous.'

Oh, I wasn't suggesting that Kaine was awful or anything. I was just wondering if anyone had seriously pondered what he'd be like as president in case it happened. I mean, the VP is always sort of in that precarious position of maybe becoming the prez in the worst case scenario, so it's logical to think about.

Just my opinion, as a conservative kind of guy,

I liked the choice of Kaine as VP. I thought Hillary had to run to the left in the primary and then, when she had the nomination, Kaine was a move to the center. I think he'd be fine as a Democratic President. He is definitely qualified.

I find it funny that the basis for the OP are hacked emails from 2013. Begging two primary questions:

First the staunch belief that hacked emails are proof of anything. Here is a little truth, if you can hack an email you certainly have the ability to then alter it to say anything you want it to say.

Second, even if the hacked 2013 emails were not altered, the allegation is Hillary Clinton was still not quite recovered from her head injury three (3) years ago. The truth is it is now very late 2016.

First the staunch belief that hacked emails are proof of anything. Here is a little truth, if you can hack an email you certainly have the ability to then alter it to say anything you want it to say.

Second, even if the hacked 2013 emails were not altered, the allegation is Hillary Clinton was still not quite recovered from her head injury three (3) years ago. The truth is it is now very late 2016.

Actually, as I stated, and the story reiterates, these emails were from 2015. A bit more recent than 2013. Regardless of the timeline, it does appear there is some uncertainty of her mental condition among her closest advisors and aides.

Additionally, there has been no refuting of the emails from the campaign.

There's no way to refute the leaked emails to satisfy those who find leaked emails from hackers to be credible sources of information.

I went back and re-read the material I posted and the only reference to 2012 was regarding her concussion suffered that year, and the only reference to 2013 was the earlier email from Abedin referring to Hillary's confusion. I didn't have to click on the link to see that the more recent emails were from 2015 when Hillary kicked off her campaign.

I see my reading error as the story does start off with alleged hacked emails from 2016. It's also sort of late 2016 now, but more relevant is the source being alledgedly hacked emails which, again, can be altered or simply created by simple word processing. Not really seeing much to get excited about. Guess you are going to have to live with the next President being a female who occassionally suffers lingering effects from a very old head injury (maybe) and is apparently a nasty woman.

As far as tin foil hats are concerned, being worried about the health (and consequently age) of a candidate isn't that new. It's happened on multiple occasions to either side of the political spectrum....such as this list reports here. Yes, it can be taken to conspiracy theory levels such has someone is trying to cover something up (which has happened in the past....FDR springs to mind, but there were good reasons for it, namely the war, etc), but public concern about candidates' health is pretty common during elections/presidencies.

I don't think pondering what might happen if Hillary she were rendered out of service for health reasons is Alex Jones level paranoia. Isn't that one of the main purposes of having the VP, that it's the Plan B in case that happens? So, by even having the VP back-up system, our government already has a plan of action for the worst case scenario.

I even recall the "Bernie is too old" argument being indirectly hinted at by Hillary's campaign during the primaries. Politics is as politics does I guess.
