You posted this question already. You can not get a K-1 visa if you have not met in person at least two years before filing your petition. Additionally if you are petitioning for a K-1 visa in Ghana and you have completed traditional engagements rites you will be considered married, your petition will be denied, and you will have to file a Cr-1. As everyone else has advised you, you will have to travel to Ghana and meet. You will most likely not be granted a visitor visa. If you plan to file a petition you need to listen to the advice given on the forum. Most people who decide not to follow advice are normally denied then after the interview they come back and ask what they should do. Follow the guides. You can inbox me if you have any questions.

meet with your fiance in ghana and please read the ghana forums and avoid all cermonies , dowrys ,offerings , introductions etc , best just to do it the american way and just propose , give a engagement ring and call it a day ,alot of ghana couples get denied because they simple didnt research enough or had red flags

To move to the US for a relationship, you actually have to have a relationship. You have to visit eachother and actually meet eachother. You meet eachother by getting on a plane and travelling.

One does not get picked and transplanted into the US like a flower.

You must have met and build a relationship for some time and he must visit, the more the better to be approved in Ghana.

It takes money, time and research to have a successful outcome.

Perhaps he can move to Ghana to be with you for a few months.

If travel is not possible then I suggest you date in your own country and forget about the USA.

If he is interested then he will find a way as the petitioner.

if you get traditionally engaged you are not qualified for K-1 visa. you'll have to file I-130 for a IR1/CR1 visa.

Why would you even be desperate to have an engagement without your partner just because you want proof for visa????

Sometimes people are desperate, but I always like to wonder if the "partner" knows these plans ever.

With that said, I recommend you talking to your partner and having him look up the process. Maybe it'll be easier for him to understand that it is a requirement to meet in person. Even if you got married and didn't meet, you'd still most likely be denied.

If you want the visa, you have to meet him in person. I don't think being with him is your biggest issue right now though.
