Check cashed and email was received today. Routed to CSC. Is this what is considered NOA1?

2016/09/09 - I-129f mailed

2016/09/12 - Delivered to Lewisville TX

2016/09/12 - NOA1 Date according to Website

2016/09/15 - NOA1 by email, check cashed. Routed to CSC

2016/09/16 - NOA1 Hard copy 797 sent out (was out of country when arrived)

2016/10/13 - NOA2 via the website

2016/10/17 - NOA2 hard-copy received

2016/11/03 - NVC Received

2016/11/04 - NVC Assigned case number (called in and got)

2016/11/07 - Left NVC for consulate in Kyiv

2016/11/10 - Case ready at embassy in Kyiv

2016/11/18 - Medical in Kyiv

2016/11/21 - Medical results received in Kyiv

2016/12/05 - Interview (Approved in about 3 mins!)

2016/12/07 - Status showing as "Issued" on CEAC website

2016/12/09 - Passport with VISA delievered to Fiancee's flat

2017/01/12 - POE @ Washington-Dulles

The processing estimate on my timeline keeps decreasing. When I got my NOA1 it was Nov 5-10, yesterday it was Nov 3-8, today it's Nov 2-7! Hopefully my fiancée and I won't have to wait too long for our NOA2. I see some applications that was filed in the beginning of August have been approved already.

I mailed our I-129f on the 10th, and got our email NOA1 yesterday. Case routed to CSC.

Now the real waiting begins. :)

Tell me about it. Its an unpredictable process with no real gauge on how long it will take. My plan is just to put it out of my mind and go on with my life. Nothing else you can do.

it will be interesting to see how fast CSC is now on processing petitions. I'm gonna tag along on the September group :) I have been thru this process already (I'm a March filer) so if anyone has any questions, I will be more than happy to share my experience with you all :dancing:

This can be a VERY LONG process filled with A LOT of emotions so hang on tight! Enjoy the ride~ :luv:

  • Started Dating - December 30, 2016
  • Met in Person - September 25, 2017 (Surprised him for his birthday)
  • Got Engaged! - September 28, 2017 ♥
  • Filed for I-129F - December 22, 2017
  • Rec'd NOA1(Text/Email) - January 2, 2018 :D
  • Rec'd Hard Copy NOA1 (Letter) - Jan. 3, 2018 (letter dated Dec. 29, 2017)
  • Rec'd RFE notice (email 7/24/18) - Pending hard copy letter :whistle:
  • Rec'd RFE letter in mail (July 27, 2018). Needs details about previous petition <_<
  • Mailed RFE - Sept. 06, 2018 (will be rec'd Saturday and picked up by Monday)

  • Interview Results - Stuck in AP - Was given the DS-5535 Questionnaire. Kept his passport - pending results
  • After 8 CEAC updates (If I counted correctly) still waiting in AP. Last update was today-June 24, 2019.
  • CEAC updated #9 - August 8, 2019 - but this might be from an inquiry I made the day before - maybe not a true 'update'
  • CEAC Update #10 - Sept. 25, 2019 (my fiance's B-Day) - made another online inquiry to embassy & called NVC for status update
  • CEAC Update #11 - Sept. 27, 2019 - most likely based from my online inquiry
  • CEAC Update #12 - Sept. 30, 2019 - Case went from AP to Application Received. Switched from Immigrant Visa App to Non-Immigrant 😁😁😁
  • Rec'd Call from Embassy!! October 2, 2019 - Time to re-do medical exam!
  • Completed New Medical Exam - October 4, 2019 - Dropped off at Aramex 😀
  • Aramex Confirmation of Delivery to Embassy for Medical - Oct. 7th, 2019
  • CEAC Update #13 - Non-Immigrant Administrative Processing - Oct. 09, 2019
  • VISA ISSUED! October 11, 2019 (last CEAC update!) 😱 FINALLLYYYYY!!!!
  • Arrived to the US! Oct. 24, 2019
  • Married Dec. 07, 2019 😍
  • Filed AOS/EAD/AP - Jan. 21, 2020

Today I mailed our 129F petition via USPS Priority Mail to Lewisville, TX. Expected delivery is Monday September 19th. Hoping to get a NOA 1 via text or email in 10 days after 09/19.

K1 Fiancee Visa Timeline

September 16, 2016- Submitted I-129F Petition

September 19, 2016- USPS delivered I-129F Petition to Lewisville, TX

September 21, 2016-Notice of Action Date from Paper notice

September 22, 2016-USCIS cashed our I129F petition fee payment and received text and email message confirming that our petition has been forwarded to the California Service Center for processing

September 26, 2016- Received NOA1 in the mail stating that our petition has been received by California Service Center and is in process
October 14, 2016- Checked USCIS application online and our case was approved. NOA2 will be mailed.

October 20,2016- Received NOA2 paper copy in the mail from the California Service Center indicating that our petition was approved and will be sent to the National Visa Center.

November 9, 2016- Called NVC and they confirmed that our approved I-129F petition has been received

November 14,2016- Called NVC and they confirmed that our approved I-129f petition was given a case number

November 15,2016- Checked the State Department Consular Electronic Application Center and our case is in transit to the US Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City

November 17, 2016- Checked he State Department Consular Electronic Application Center and our case has been received by the US Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City. It shows Ready with the following message: "case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section"

November 23, 2016- Received by email Packet 3 from the US Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City

November 25, 2016- Completed Packet 3 and send it to the US Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City

December 1, 2016- Medical Examination Completed

December 1, 2016- Visa interview scheduled for Tuesday January 24, 2017

December 2, 2016- US Consulate changed my fiancee Duong's interview to Friday January 13, 2017

 

January 13, 2017- US Consulate gives my fiancee Duong a blue sheet requesting for more evidence.

January 20, 2017- My fiancee Duong and I returned to the US Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City and submitted requested evidence and received approval notification after waiting for 3.5 hours. :)

January 25, 2017- US Consulates issues my fiancee Duong's visa and sends it to her via EMS- local courier service in Vietnam. Due to Tet holiday my fiancee Duong will most locally received her passport and visa late next week.

Now more waiting...

(Don't forget to start gathering updated "Proof of On Going Relationship" to add to the packet for the interview process. From the time after you sent out your I-129F until the day before Interview day! Wee!)

Hate waiting and not getting a final date. Won't be able to have an exact date for my wedding each time people asks us when its going to happen. :(
