Seems with that rap sheet he should have stood as a Dem.

Because like I've said before, if Obama had Trump's credentials(along with his wife's) you, along with the rest of the GOP would be tearing him apart.

5 kids with 3 different wives? His wife was already drug and called a baby momma when they've been married for 20 years and she's an educated woman(two degrees) with well behaved kids, one of three to be FLOTUS and hold dual degrees

Wife dropped out in 10th grade AND did nude photos? Michelle being a black woman, this would have killed his chances alone

Lawsuits about defrauding Veterans AND his university being a fraud? Discrimination suits against people of color?

Bankruptcies? Plural?

Sexual assault of a minor? Three times?

Ties to the mob?

Please let me know what about that is appealing. Obama has two degrees from Columbia and Harvard. Dedicated family man. One wife, two kids. And his wife is a lawyer, and been nothing but the definition of grace and elegance.

That's what's racist about it. The GOP is pushing a man they would NEVER back if there was a white man in the white house. That's a fact, considering they've been fighting him since day one. And look at the quality of folks running for President since 2008.

Chris Rock said it best, a black man has to fly to get where the white man can walk to. This is very evident in the case of the Obamas' vs the Trumps'. I'd wager folks coming in here to say that degrees don't matter, that doing nude spreads don't matter, nothing matters just to make Trump be better than the POTUS.

No, I am looking at the bigger picture. Certainly if you take individual policies, you will find some disagreement with traditional conservatism. But his appeal is on a much broader level - anti-political correctness; belief in America's exceptionalism; support for our military and police; and a basic belief that this is a nation of laws and that illegal immigrants have no place here.

All things liberals despise.

Nope...an authority fetish is not conservatism

But he's standing with the GOP, and his supporters are letting him. They can NEVER talk about low information voting ever again.

Why can't it just be that we cannot stand any of Obama's policies and, even worse, his methodology of forcing those misguided policies down our throats?

Trump is certainly the anti-Obama, which is a large part of his appeal.

Why attribute everything to racism?

It's Racism if you don't like Obama. It's sexism if you don't like Hillary

I am not calling him a conservative. Those are your words. You seem to think by playing gotcha with Trump's supporters, showing he is not a traditional conservative, is a problem. It's not.

What I am doing is trying to explain his appeal.

I think not being a Traditional Republican is his broad appeal, it's a plus. They need to let that sink in

He's actually further left on some issues than Clinton. They're both scary, really.

I for one find it refreshing to have a Republican candidate not harping about the gays

I don't have a problem with that, I have no issue with gays, or with his "new york(liberal) values" he talked about in the past. It's mostly the economic stuff I'm looking at. That's why he will probably get just as many of Bernie's fans as she will.

As a full fledged trump supporter....very few on the left ever have a clue about why we support him.

Think of us as Bernie lovers that are strong on law and order. We are tired of the establishment. Look how many establishment republicans tried to take him down. The establishment only talks bs to get our vote....then they just do as they please and act like they are working hard.

We are tired of the collusion. We are tired of the liberal media colluding with democrats. We are tired of the rigged political process. Look at how the dnc screwed over sanders and then he is expected to bend over and endorse.

We are tired of people breaking our immigration laws with little or no consequences.

We are tired about the global warming hoax.

We are proud of America and we see the democrats trying their best to turn out great country into a third world nation and one global government. F the UN.

I guess I should not use the word we....as I only speak for myself. Many trump supporters agree with me....some don't....but overall we feel we need real change....real leadership....someone who has a track record of getting so much done. Not only that he has instincts that few can rival. He may be a billionaire.....but he can relate to hard working people such as myself extremely well. He never hides. He accepts what he says and doesn't go on fake apology tours.

Plus as an added bonus....he was endorsed by the NRA....and his sons are avid hunters.

Megalomania:

noun
noun: megalomania
  1. obsession with the exercise of power, especially in the domination of others.
synonyms: delusions of grandeur, folie de grandeur, thirst/lust for power; More
    self-importance, egotism, conceit, conceitedness
"he's blinded by his own megalomania and quest for historic recognition at any cost"
    • delusion about one's own power or importance (typically as a symptom of manic or paranoid disorder).

Megalomania is best reserved for those in oligarchies, dictatorships, theocracies, despotism, and absolute authoritarianism. Megalomania is something our founders did not want the Presidency to be.

There has actually been a great deal of studies on the type of temperament it takes to be president. Megalomania need not apply. Megalomania differs from NPD or Narcissistic Personality Disorder, in which the candidate has intense desire to be motivated by wanting to be absolute in power and rule by fear. They will be fond of making others suffer, they will take pleasure in killing and destroying. They literally want to be feared, rather than the latter, which is focused on a desire to be beloved. Both have deluded aspects but are different. Both are psychological disorders, but one is far more dangerous than the other. A study of Presidents and Prime Ministers for instance, revealed shades of a psychological disorder referred to as Hubris syndrome (it can be a learned disorder because of environmental factors), which also varies quite differently from Megalomania, and is actually linked to other underlying psychological problems - including bipolarism, alcohol/drug abuse, anxiety, and depression. Anxiety and depression, being the most common in those leaders with no underlying issues, is understandable and one of the reasons why they tend to show severe signs of stress, by aging significantly pre and post office. Even the standard dictionary definition above, does not reveal the full definition of the true psychological disorder of a megalomaniac.

Think of us as Bernie lovers that are strong on law and order.

So if we took gun rights, law and order and added these we would have your dream candidate?

Criminal Justice: The American justice system is crippled by over-incarceration, disenfranchisement, and poor prison conditions, and people of color are disproportionately affected by this situation. A total rehaul is required.

Economic Justice: People of color face systemic discrimination in every aspect of our economy, from education to hiring to compensation. We must create more jobs, raise the minimum wage, and increase access to education and training. We must also expand social safety net programs and guarantee affordable healthcare and nutrition programs so that we enable working families of color to get ahead.

Voting Rights: State by state, our voting rights are increasingly under attack. Various voter suppression tactics very directly affect people of color’s ability to participate in our democratic process. We must combat voter ID laws and felony disenfranchisement.

Housing Discrimination: Residential segregation and lack of access to quality affordable housing has a pervasive and disproportionate impact on people of color.

The Conversation About Race: America’s entrenched history of racial inequality is systemic — and we must confront it head on.

Immigration Reform: As a nation of immigrants, we must reform a system that keeps too many hardworking laborers in the shadows — most of them people of color.

Economic and Diplomatic Pressure: To temper Russian aggression, we must freeze Russian government assets all over the world, and encourage international corporations with huge investments in Russia to divest from that nation’s increasingly hostile political aims.

Work with the International Community: The United States must collaborate to create a unified stance with our international allies in order to effectively address Russian aggression.

Reinstate Glass-Steagall: Separating commercial banking from investment banking will buffer normal Americans from risky investments.

Break up the Big Banks: Banks that are “too big to fail” make risky investments because they know that the American taxpayer will bail them out — and are therefore too big to exist.

Tax on Wall Street Speculation: Change the tax code to discourage short-term gambling and instead promote long-term investing.

Affordable Care Act (Obamacare): Obamacare was a small victory for the uninsured, but it is time to take the fight against inadequate coverage even further.

Medicaid: Until comprehensive universal healthcare is passed, we must expand and improve the Medicaid program.

Medicare: We must expand “Medicare for All” by creating a single-payer health-care system for every American.

Universal Healthcare: Many countries have proven that a single-payer system can work—it’s time for the U.S. to join that list.

Mental Health: We must make sure that mental health services are available to all Americans regardless of income.

Prescription Drugs & Drug Manufacturers: We can promote innovation by controlling drug costs and tackling fraud.

Nutrition: In our land of plenty, everyone has the right to access to food and education on nutrition regardless of income or mobility.

Climate Record: Bernie has held steadfast to the opinion that climate change rates are a global crisis and must be immediately and vigorously combated.

Combating Climate Skeptics in Washington: Bernie believes our children and their children deserve relentless fighters of policy that ignores or denies climate change.

End Offshore Tax Havens: Corporations must begin paying their fair share in taxes.

End Subsidies to Big Business: The most profitable corporations do not need to be subsidized by American taxpayers.

Overturn Citizens United: Bernie wants to overturn the Citizens United ruling to prevent corporations from having an outsized influence on our democracy.

Support Entrepreneurship and Small Businesses: Instead of helping multinational corporations, Bernie wants to support small and medium American businesses by providing them with the low-interest loans.

DISCLOSE Act: Bernie wants to enact legislation to protect the integrity and transparency of federal elections by establishing disclosure requirements for all contributions.

Public Funding of Elections: Bernie wants to move towards public funding of elections to promote a more even playing field where all Americans can participate.

Democracy Day: Bernie wants to celebrate democracy by creating a holiday to encourage voter turnout for elections.

Gerrymandering & Voter Suppression: Bernie wants to curb redistricting as well as reinforce the Voting Rights Acts by making it easy for anyone to cast a vote, including former felons who have served their time.

The Two-Party System: Bernie Sanders believes that many Americans have “rejected the two party system” and is one of the US Senate’s only two Independent members. He has supported legislation to introduce Instant Runoff Voting in order to give third parties a fair shot at competing in our elections.

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.

You forgot one thing. Bernie just endorsed a rigged system. He was used and abused and he ended up bending over to the queen of corruption. Some are saying he is a sellout and a fraud. I think he is just a perpetual protester. What good is a "revolution" is if as soon as the going gets tough....he just rolls over and praises the queen. It is easy to be leading a revolution if there are no tough consequences.
