The Tornado is getting pretty excited to be going up to Canada. She even remembers how we wake up before the sun and she gets to stay in her PJ's when we wake up.

I wish the drive didn't take so long though!

The Tornado is getting pretty excited to be going up to Canada. She even remembers how we wake up before the sun and she gets to stay in her PJ's when we wake up.

I wish the drive didn't take so long though!

How long of a drive is it?

I am not looking forward to the basically multi-day journey we have coming up to Denmark. I think we leave at 6 or 7 am one day and don't stop traveling until night the next day. :dead:

That was like my trek to Malaysia. 22 hours airport to airport.

It would be shorter, but we've got to drive down to the Twin Cities and get to the airport early because of lines and parking. Then we've got a layover in Iceland (this one is short, but I think on the way back it is 7 hours or something), and when we get to Denmark have to drive across the country to get where we need to go.

Yes we stop, it's just to hard with the little ones.

How long of a drive is it?

It's about 18 hours straight through. But with the littles having to eat pee and stretch their legs it takes a bit longer.

If we drove right through we would get to the border at 3am ish. and that is with us getting out of the house at 4 am.

By stopping for the the night past Chicago, just into Mich it will be about 11pm and we get to sleep and start up fresh then drive the rest of the way and get to the border about 4pm.

It also makes it much easier not being drained and tired that first day.

My road trip (which I'm not really interested in going on), we were leaving NYC in the morning, like 12, because tiff can't ###### get up out of bed, stopping by the finger lakes region, then spend the night on the Canadian side of Niagara falls, at the great wolf lodge over there. Then onto Toronto. Then, come home.

But this whole trip is up in the air. I'm not making any reservations.

But I'm not going till late July. And, I may not go at all.
