Urgent!!!! Help needed

I am trying to get my I-751 packet ready but having difficult time finding bottom tabs with numbers/ alphabets. I called several office supplies stores around us but they all seem to only carry side tabs.

Where did you find your tabs? I need to send my packet soon.

I was thinking to use bottom tabs and big binder clip to assemble my packet. I think that is how my lawyer did it the last time for AOS. I also read the instructions on VJ and that sounds acceptable.

Is there any other way to do it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

ACCO binders or just plain paperclips. Do not let this non-issue delay your sending of the packet.

What about the tabs? Don't I need them to list my documents in an order as in the coverletter

Tabs are not required or important or urgent. USCIS will throw them away.

Use little Post-It notes and make your own tabs.

I did post-it notes on the bottom too, then bound everything with paper clips (to keep documents of several related pages together) and connected the whole thing with two large binder clips. No problems!

We just filled out the I-751 and attached the other documents behind it

We only sent Copies Green Cards, 4 Affidavits, Birth Certificates of New Born Children and anything they said that was specifically required.

I'm not sure why everyone gets fancy with all these tabs and everything

Maybe because of this:

• In preparing your packet, please take note of the following:
  • Do not use binders or folders that cannot be easily disassembled.
  • Use ACCO fasteners to hold together thick or bulky applications or petitions. Two-hole punching the top of the material for easy placement in the file is appreciated.
  • The use of tabs assist in locating items listed as attachments. The tabs should be placed on the bottom and not the side for ease in filing.
  • Avoid using heavy-duty staples; instead use ACCO fasteners or heavy clips.
  • Avoid submitting originals unless specifically required. Avoid submitting oversized documentation when possible.

Post-It makes these things called Tabs, that you can buy at any office supply store, or online at Amazon.

While I personally did not use them for the I-129f packet, I use them daily at work. Here is an example of one of my project notebooks in the office.

Tabs are cool, post it note ones are great, neither are *required*. I used coloured binder and paperclips for my own organizatio. I also made sure everything was in the order on my cover letter.
