The 45 days is 45 days after the "received date" listed on your i797 NoA.

Pointless to call your EAD you won't hear anything about until it's approved and it's pointless calling until your at day 75 with you EAD... as for AOS it's pointless cause they wil tell you it's within processing time the only time it's worth calling is once you have reached about 90days after you biometrics and you haven't had a status update since then.. If you have a status update with AOS from the AOS like "ready to be scheduled interview" it's pointless to call cause they will you you have an update within the last 60days and that its within normal processing times... Saying that it doesn't hurt to enquire about your case but is being on hold and agrueing them really worth it? No

In a nutshell once you get a status update they have 60days to work your file to do it in a timely manner so no point calling... And that is 60days per status update

Using the case tracker I saw that a bunch of RFIEs were sent out today.

No such update was made with my numbers so I think I'll just assume it's all good and wait for the bureaucratic wheel to turn.

Biometrics done. We did a walk-in at the Morrisville, NC office yesterday. Very few people there, the whole thing took less than 20 minutes. All we needed was the letter, passport and marriage certificate.

FYI; I guess I didn't pay attention when we walked in, but keep bags in the car. And keep cel phones out of sight, or don't bring them either. They didn't check, but when I started using mine, she told me that they were not allowed inside.

There's an app for the iPhone and iPad which allows you to search a range of case numbers.

This way you can see what's happening to people that filed around the same time.

The app is called USCIS Case Tracker & Searcher and it's made by Stephen Aldous. Not sure about an android version.

If that is so, I think I'm going to need to keep on being patient. I was hoping to get it soon (biometrics was 2 weeks ago)! So apparently one more whole month to wait.

Our car insurance has been insisting that I need a Florida Drivers license, but they won't give me one because My I-94 expired. I did have an ID from the DMV but it expired with my I-94 and as I understand I can't get it renewed until I get my combo card....oh boy!!! Let's hope that they are willing to wait one more month.

There a little back up with EADs the now so the average approval time for EAD currently is between 85-100days now... Dmv won't entertain you until you get a SSN which you won't have until your EAD arrives

Hi Jannina, I did get my Florida Drivers license, my I-94 was almost expired so they said at first they could only give me until the expiration date. But I kept asking as my feeling on this was that once you apply for AOS you are in the system so you should be able to get a Drivers License. The lady who helped me was very kind, talked to someone else and went back into the system. She said that yes, there was an exception, and she could give me the license for a year so it has temporary license written on it. So you could give it another try. Good luck!

Went to Biometrics appointment 9 days early. ASC in Oxnard on 2000 Outlet Center Drive.

We arrived at 9am. There was no line, no waiting, and no questions asked why we came early.

One loan hiccup. My wife's last name on the I-765 was her new married name while the last name on her ID (passport) was her surname. We had to drive home and get our marriage certificate. Thankfully it's only 16 miles round trip.

I checked the USCIS website today and i find out that my case is ready to schedule for an interview yeey...the EAD and AP are still giving me error

I'm on this train too, waiting for EAD and AOS. Didn't file for AP, didn't see the need for it.

Anywho, just had biometrics done yesterday (July 20, 2016)) and am waiting again.

We filed the AOS package on June 17th/2016.. I can only hope that we are on the shorter end of things for filing time... I NEED to get back to work.

We seem to have the same timeline, we sent ours june 17th, noa 1 is june 28th, biometrics was scheduled for july 20th but we went early, on July 14th!

Not being able to work is driving me crazy, and on top of that my belgian wedding is october 8th, i really hope i can make it there!
