it was never an issue for us, we are both professionals with a decent income so it just seemed easier to not complicate things with money transfers and some such.....

so David payed everything connected to the I-129F filing, and I`m financing everything neccessary from this side- like all the documents and translations, medical and visa issuance cost....

when it comes to AOS, and all the things needed after I move, it will already be one household with our money, instead of his or mine.....who pays for what will be a nonexistent issue at that point

He sent the payment for the visa application, I will pay for the medical, shots, consulate etc. I'll pay for the move. And he will likely cover the rest of the process as I won't be working!

Moi, the petitioner female. The only job my fiance could get can't support the only apartment he can get, and he can't live with family for reasons I'd rather not get into, so he's stuck where he is... constantly skirting his way out of debt. Not only have I opted to pay for all the visa costs, but if he gets into financial trouble over there I'll help him, and I've offered to send him money for something fun that he has an interest in like karate classes or something so he can get out and enjoy himself once in a while. And no, he's not in it just for the money... we've known each other for 3 years, the first 2 we were friends (1.5 years in person while he was living here) and the last year we've been dating, so I know him better than that. He didn't ask, I offered.

You know: I paid the visa fee for the K1, but we're abandoning it in favor of a UK spousal settlement. He's going to pay the fee for that.

Well in our case it's me the female non US Citizen.

For a very simple reason-

I don't want anyone to be able to say "I paid for you to get here!"

And because my man will have to pay for enough stuff once my son and I are in the US seeing that I wont be able to work until I get my EAD and then about a year after we finally got married we want a second child.I'm very traditional and don't believe in mothers of very young children going to work unless the financial situation of the family kinda forces them too.

Plus I'm very good at saving up money while my better half just really has a hard time keeping the money in his wallet or on the bank account.lol.

We haven't done AOS yet, but as far as the visa itself is concerned... I guess I paid for more of it, though he paid for the medical, his hotel in Naples, the actual 80EU fee to have the interview, etc.

my fiance (petitioner male) paid for everything. plus he gave me 3000$ so i can pay for my medical, the visa, the plane ticket and everything else.
