Hi everyone. I filed my case doing as told from this section: http://www.visajourney.com/content/k3guide

I did it back in November of 2015 and they received it on the 17th and they sent me a confirmation mail, e-mail and text. They said to wait until they approve it (hopefully). I'm married to my wife back in July of 2015. It seems like they are going to take a long time especially since my wife is from Jordan (perhaps?). I want to know if she could at least come to visit me for few months then go back there. By then there should be a little time left until we can do the third step (which seems like it would be on her end from Jordan). Is it okay for her to come and visit? Would it cause problems? Are there anything I should avoid? I need some tips/help on this. I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Edit -- Just to confirm, I did the I-130 in 2015 November. Waiting on the NOA1 to come in the mail to send it out with my I-129F.

Does she have a Visitor Visa?

Why are you doing K3? That's more or less obsolete! Noa1 is the mail you got confirming they received your paperwork.

Your wife can visit if she has a visa to do so.

Awww my god .... I received that two or three weeks after I sent that out in November. I have the paper thank god. So now I just need to follow the second step in the first link I posted. :/ .... I feel so stupid.

She doesn't have visitation visa. Would it take long to get the Visa? She got her passport with me. I'm gonna prepare the paper work and send out everything next week in the meantime to file her I-129F. That shouldn't be a problem since I received it back in November 2015. Right?

Why are you doing K3? It's extremely rare these days. It's usually closed out and you'll end up with CR1

****** Moving from Bringing Family forum to K3 forum ******

OP- the K3 is obsolete. it was a visa brought in when the CR-1 spousal visa took several years. Right now, they both take the same time (about a year from filing to interview), but the K3 is more expensive and means she cannot work or travel for several months upon entry to the USA. And that is IF you can even get it; almost all of the time, the K3 visa path is closed at NVC stage and you have no choice but to go CR-1. Safe yourself paperwork ans extra headaches and drop the K3 idea, unless you have very specific reasons to try and get one.

That is what the comments here suggest, correct.

Basically, all you do is "less"- not file the I-129. The process is outlined here: http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1
