OMG I got the most dumbass representative one can possibly get

She told me several times the same things that being 30-45 days

I was like: but i'm already past those days

she was like: I can't check it

I told her: that's funny cause the previous officer told me that I was on the day 36 after filing and you say you can't see that information

she apologized like a thousand times. I asked her WHEN I SHOULD CALL TO PUT AN INQUIRY ABOUT my case status online exactly?

then she said you should give it some time and the local offices process the cases in order they receive them and it usually takes around 6 months so give it some time okay?

i was pissed and said "thank you bye"

the most uninformative call I ever had

Maybe we got the same representative. Lol

I also got the same response.

What do we do then if it had passed the processing time for EAD/AP and we already lodged a service request online? They would just tell you to wait for 15 days which would technically be our 90th day? So, what happens after that? What actions do we need to take? It seems like calling the USCIS doesn't help.

April 13, 2016 – AOS, EAD & AP sent (Day 1)

April 15, 2016 – Received date on the NOA1 (Day 2)

April 22, 2016 – Received SMS & E-mail Notification (Day 9)

April 25, 2016 – Received Hard Copy of NOA1 (Day 12)

May 2, 2016 – Received Biometric Appointment (Day 19)

May 13, 2016 – Biometric Schedule (Day 30)

May 30, 2016 – Updated I-485 to “Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for Interview” (Day 47)

June 29, 2016 - Submitted Service Request (Day 76)

July 13, 2016 - EAD & AP approved (Day 89)

I think I will put the inquiry about my EAD on day 65, so that when they eventually get to it on day 80-85 then they won't be able to tell me that I should wait more time for them to expedite on my case XD

No I think I got the craziest response to my inquiry about my EAD, she is telling me to tell my employer that I am adjusting my status and haven't got my card as yet, is she aware of everify and if I get flagged I will be fired. Are they properly trained? I thought tier 2 was supposed to be more informed. So much for my $870.00

I called USCIS 2 times since last week, both times talked to Tier 2. They said we have to wait 90 days for EAD :/ After 69 days we still cant check the case online :ranting::protest:

Same thing for me, this check case status has never worked for me since the beginning of my AOS filing...

Very frustrating but there is nothing you can do except wait...

I called again this morning, it will be 90 days on June 28th

The girl I spoke to said our RFE doesn't have any effect on EAD (which is different to what I was told before), she did put a service request in tho

Back to waiting :)

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey

I got a RFIE at the end of April, just got my EAD/AP approved, still within the 90 days so I'd agree with the above, they do seem to be separate

Hey everyone---I had my biometrics almost a month ago and have not gotten anything in the mail about EAD or interview yet--I JUST checked my case online for the first time and it says this: "As of June 6, 2016, we are ready to schedule your interview for Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status"

When could I call? How many business days in after biometrics or after filing AOS?

Also, is it this number that I call? 1-800-375-5283

Sorry I know it's questions that have already been answered here but I haven't been able to log in recently.
