Mine is stuck on last June for "Response to RFE received". At least I have my EAD and I am working. It's a pain each time I have to travel, but otherwise it's business as usual. I just hope I'll get my green card before my EAD expires.

Let me know how it goes and if you had to reach out to your ombudsman. I might follow your steps if I don't hear anything by April.

 

Okay, I will let you know if I finally use the ombudsman. I also called the 800 hot line, they just ask me to wait for service request reply. The local congressman's office called the second day they received my request and said it is normal to wait for 9-11 months to get green card and asked me to wait two more months. And the USCIS SR should  give me an answer before 6th, January. If I don't get an useful answer from USCIS, I will use the ombudsman as soon as possible.

Have you file a Service Request? I'm a June filer, I was able to file online a Service Request yesterday, I received same day a confirmation by email, USCIS will review and process the request. Expect a reply by January 3, 2017. Hopefully this would move my case. Good luck!

 

Hi, ROSA63, have you heard anything from your service request? According to their email, I should have get a reply by January 6, 2017, but I haven't yet.

Congrats! This thread has become pretty large indeed! To reduce server loads I will need to close this "large thread" however please feel free to start a "part 2, 3, 4..." of this thread from scratch! :)Thank you for understanding. My goal is to make the VJ server as snappy as possible .
