Hi i had send the i-130 petition for my spouse on october 20 and it was accepted on october 22 and forwarded to CSC and they approved it on November 16 but we didnt recieve any mail/email from USCIS/NVC just we contact the uscis lockbox support and they provide us with the information but when we tried to contact the NVC by phone and email many times no one answered so can any one help me and tell me what should i do

Iam a USC and iam living in egypt with my spouse.

Please help me

Welcome to VJ! Have you tried contacting your congressman or Representative? Most times they can get an answers on your behalf! Good luck to you!

Iam living in Egypt with my spouse and Iam already tried to contact the NVC by phone but they put me on hold every time

Do you have your USCS Receipt #? If so, call NVC again and ask them if they ever received your petition. NVC is always busy so you will be on hold for a long time sometimes. Unfortunately, you just need to stay on the phone and wait if you want answers. I know it can be expensive calling from Egypt. I don't know if there is some service you can use that might be a cheaper way to call them.

Have you checked your case on myuscis.gov?

Yes , Iam checked my case and the statue say that the petition was approved on November 16 and the uscis send me an email that say the case was forwarded to the NVC on November 18

Then call NVC and stay on the line until someone answers. The best time to call is right when they open at 7am EST. I'm not sure how that works out for you since there is a big time difference. They will ask you for your USCIS Receipt number. Then they can tell you if and when your case was received. Don't stress out yet until you have talked to someone at NVC directly.

Congratulations, you really need to stay on hold with nvc. It's not terribly long and you really need to see if they have your case. I got my case number 11 days after they received it. Without this info, you can't proceed so be patient and hang on till they answer. Good luck

u need to call, emailing them isn't always successful

7/30/2015 Sent I130 priority mail to have tracking, I suggest you do the same.

1/15/2016 Called NVC and got case/invoice number logged into this site to pay fees, pick agent -> https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx 1/15/2016 picked agent DS-261

1/18/2016 paid aos fee

1/28/2016 review 261 to get iv fee unlocked ( unlocked once I did review,was taking to long)

2/1/ 2016 sent AOS & IV packets together to nvc while I waited for iv fee to open to save time.

2/4/2016 paid IV Fee and waited to do ds260

2/3/2016 nvc received aos and iv packets(scan date)

2/7/2016 ds260 completed and now waiting for cc

♧CASE COMPLETE. .. march 8th

3/11/15 interview email

4/20/15 shots 4/25/15 rest of medical exam

INTERVIEW APRIL 27TH @8:30

April 27th 221g for additional documentation and placed in administrative processsing.

June 20th submitted evidence requested

June 23rd case was touched by embassy

August 1st case was touched again.

AUGUST 16TH embassy called and wants a new co sponser yet he met requirements.

Found a new co-sponsor

Handed in aos sept 11th

Set 18th another update

Sept 28th update and embassy called

SEPT 29TH ISSUED FINALLY

OCT 2nd visa in hand

POE October 22nd 2016
