Spoke to a very nice tier 2 agent, arrgh the card that was produced was apparently crooked, but there was no record that they have replaced it.

So the machine really effed up last week of April hence the delays. And glad I also called them otherwise it wouldn't be taken care of.

So the agent requested the reproduction of the card, and gave me a reference number to call back next week.

Green card received today, best to all of you

Status changed to "CARD WAS PICKED UP BY THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE". We also received a tracking number. Checked USPS tracking and the expected delivery is Tuesday May 31st.

My wife is extremely happy. She already has made travel plans. She and I will be taking a mini vacation this holiday weekend to enjoy ourselves.

To all who are still waiting, try to take time this weekend and enjoy yourself. Try to free yourself from the stress of waiting for a few days.

We got a nice surprise, yesterday - email notification from USPS that a package was being shipped from Lees Summit, MO. Expected arrival is Tuesday. Great way to start a long weekend.

Still haven't heard anything about her AOS, but we're practicing patience with that. Last I heard, Baltimore was just processing applications from August 2015, so we may have a bit of a wait ahead. Still, if there's been nothing in another month, we'll be calling for any info we can get.

I got an alert on my case tracker early this morning saying status has been changed on i485 and i765 but when I opened it I still see case received.Is this some error messages or they really worked on my case and am yet to get the actual notification? Today makes it 87 days and haven't gotten Ead approval yet

I would definitely call them on Tuesday (if you haven't called already)! Hopefully they can look into your case and get things moving. EAD shouldn't take longer than 90 days, based on what I've read.

EAD mail out yesterday! My timeline

March 7 2016. I765,i130,aos received at Chicago.

March 13 check cash

March 24 got hard copy of receipt

March 18 biometric app for april 4th

April 4th biometric done

April 6th got email rfe for i864.

May 6th sent rfe back.

May 13 got notification uscis received my rfe they ask for.

May 23 new card being produce.

May 27 ead mailed. Tracking say should receive the 31

Got notification earlier that the delivery status had changed. My wife's card arrived about an hour ago.

Something to note, btw - the expiration date is from the date of approval, not the date of production. So, her card expires in April 2017.

So after getting the tracking number yesterday with an expected delivery of Tuesday, May 31, the Permanent Resident card was delivery this morning. This is exactly one week after the EAD/ AP combo card was delivered.

*shrugs shoulders* There is no rhyme of reason to this process.

My status changed today on my i485 from rfe response received to case is ready to be scheduled for an interview..I pray my ead get approved this week because I need to get a lot of things done with it.

As me, still waiting for my greencard, 2 weeks now since I got approved... People that got approval after me have their greencard, and here I am... still sitting at home, won't get the EAD no more, if only they would hurry up with my card!!! Then I can finally start applying for a job! (eventho I have like 90% chance I already have one waiting for me haha, connections yey! Talking of which JudithF, doesn't your husband have any connections to hook you up with a job?)

How do I get through to a Level 2/ISO on the phone? The guy I spoke to today said that there was no-one available by phone who could tell me more than the online case status, which is obviously wrong given what I've seen here.

I received my EAD today and my job starts on June 2nd. I have a question regarding my SSN number. Can i not work until the ssn number is issued? that's another 3-4 weeks?

I do have ITIN number if that helps? My employer requires a W4 form to be submitted that asks for my SSN number.

I will go tomorrow to apply it but confused as to if i can go into work or not?

Once you have your EAD card you are eligible to work and get an offer letter, take the offer letter and other documents needed for SSN to the SSN office and get your SSN ID. It usually takes about 14 days to get it. I think you can work while your SSN application is in process it usually never gets denied. Tell your employer that your SSN is in process, I am sure they will understand.
