Should i get an update in email when USCIS will send my case to NVC? How long does it take in average? Can we get the case # before we get any update about case reaching NVC?

You might get text and email that your file has been sent to the Department of State. Nebraska Service Center sends a week after approval.

USCIS has nothing to do with getting a case#. Your petition has to get there and about 14 to 28 days after arriving at NVC you are assigned a case number.

Than the fun begins.

Anyone have any predicitons about what scan dates will be getting case completes in the next couple weeks? eagerly anticipating... i can't bear another month listening to nvc call waiting music. gah that little song will be the death of me lol

I'm only one week in and I'm already checking CEAC everyday! LOL. I'm anxious to get this whole process done and have my husband here with me! I'm claiming the week of the March 16th as CC for me! (sooner would be sooooo much better)

I was checking timelines of people from last year....they were getting CC in 2-3 weeks! wouldn't that be marvelous!

My scan date is Feb 1st. It's only been 23 days but I can't wait lol

My scan date was January 22nd. I called today (one month) and they said they were still reviewing my case and to give them up to 45 days.

Mine took 42. I think they are still in that range. The addition of Potomac service center has increased the workload on NVC.

Just saw 3rd N/A ?????????. Hope it means something good. Will have to wait till tomorrow to check. I had two scan dates Jan14th and Jan15th.

Anyone with these dates got CC? How long does it take to know your interview date & do they send notification emails?

I sat today listening to that annoying music for a whole 30mins before "Gus" came on the phone and handled my call in under a minute!

Seems a bit unfair to be tortured like that but I agree with it being used as a means of interrogation! lolz!
