Blah they emailed me today informing me that they are gonna send me an RFE. Hopefully this wont push me back too far. It only says its an RFE for the I-485, so that shouldnt do anything to the processing time of the EAD should it? I hope not.

I think the cases that are transferred do have something to do with the local office. I too have notice a pattern. Of the people that I know that are from the Phoenix area, all have required interviews. The good thing is that they are often scheduled quickly. I have mine next week

16 march i changed my TAX and made it joint, i dont know if i send it back with copy of the RFE or just wait for the interview?

20 march 2007 AOS touched only saying they recived the RFE back!

I filed in Feb too, got a Biometric Appointment for 1st March then received RFE date 22nd Feb nto received till first week in March. It was for not sending the most recent W2's, hubby didn't have it at that point.

Sent the RFE back last week and got e-mail notification from MCS that it is now received and should receive some kind of response within 60 days.

I too received 2 touches, 1 yesterday (03/20/07) and 1 today (03/21/07). Biometrics was done in Detroit for my wife and daughter on 03/01/07. Strange thing though, I didn't receive any emails about the touches and yes I'm setup to receive emails, strange indeed.

I pray that the AOS will come through soon, I pray that everyone's AOS will come through soon!
