touch today and yesterday. This morning my heart sank as there were two emails, uhoh...too soon..must be an RFE...BUT it was only to inform me that case is still pending...phew...

what does the pending e-mail mean anyway? is there a point to it? But then again, most USCIS related things are pointless :lol:

As you can see from my signature, we had our interview last Thursday. It was really negative, and we still don't know what the outcome is. From what I have read and researched, there doesn't appear to be a reason for a denial. She did remove his I-94 which everyone seems to state they do when a case is approved. I don't know but will advise as soon as I get an answer. :blink:

got the interview letter in the mail yesterday. Interview is on 5/17. :) Our receipt dates were on 2/27 so things moved pretty quickly! With her AP approved already so we can travel, everything has come together very nicely in time for our ceremony on June 15.

I'm glad there hasn't been any headaches yet. Our lawyer was worth every penny (even tho it didn't feel like she did much other than fill out the papers)

02-09-07 - Legally Married

02-20-07 - AOS and AP mailed to Chicago

02-27-07 - NOA1

03-15-07 - Biometrics done

03-19-07 - AP Approved (AP was expedited. Emergency Advance Parole done at the immigration office)

03-26-07 - AOS Interview on 5/17

Advance Parole Approved in under 30 days.

Just under 90 days from AOS filing to AOS interview. Not bad! :)
