Greencard Denial At Airport

I know someone who is coming to the U.S. from Turkey. He is a permanent greencard holder, yet he has not been in the country since 2007. He never had any intention of moving to the U.S. Furthermore, he never applied for a re-entry permit nor does he have a SB1 Returning Visa Permit. Will he be denied entry to the U.S. and sent back to Turkey? Or will authorities in Turkey prevent him from coming here?

Here?

Nothing you can do.

I really don't want him hear.

What do you mean by this? What do you feelings have to do with his permanent resident status?

Here* sorry. He's my uncle from my father's side. He won the greencard in a lottery. He's a very mean man and he's just coming here to shop and use the US for his own purposes. He doesn't deserve the greencard. I bet there are a million people that are more deserving of it. That's why his status concerns me

Who are you to make judgement who deserves a greencard and who doesn't? As long as your uncle is abiding the law, then he can come shop or do whatever he wants. This is a free country. You can't do anything about it.

If you don't like your uncle, then don't host him in your house, that is your right.

If he been out of the states for more than a year without re-entry nor staying here, it is a very high possibility that he needs to surrender his greencard and be revoked, then sent back to Turkey. I've seen it at least two or three cases in the immigration at POE.

Then the other things is like the others said.. If you don't like him, don't let him stay at your place; it is a free country, he is free to come, and you are free to receive him or not. You can't do anything about him if his entry is allowed, doesn't matter you like him or not, being your uncle or anybody else.
